The hotel

Overlooking an immaculate stretch of white sandy beach with breathtaking ocean and mountain views, the Hyatt Regency opened its doors to guests just a few years ago, gaining an excellent reputation since. Contemporary in design, utilising Vietnamese craftsmanship and décor, the hotel has set a new standard in Asian hospitality and style. Family-friendly, there are amenities galore as well as rich cultural and tourist attractions nearby. The main swimming pool is just steps from the ocean with great views for parents to admire whilst the kids splash around. There’s also a more secluded garden pool and a lap pool for fitness enthusiasts. After a busy day sightseeing, there’s nothing better than to relax at VIE Spa, a haven of peace and serenity, there’s the Mountain Air treatment to energise and uplift, The Expansive Sea treatment to calm and de-stress and the Pure Earth Treatment to purify and nourish. If it’s hard to choose between them, simply indulge in all three! There are plenty of sports available too including tennis, basketball and volleyball. Three dining venues offer an exciting mix of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. The Green House is warm and inviting with floor-to-ceiling windows, at the Pool House you can dine al fresco whilst the Beach House overlooks the Son Tra Peninsular and serves delicious meats and seafood fresh from the grill.

Wonderful place to stay. Very relaxing. Not much stuff to do in the resort as a family. But the city does offer everything the resort does not. Perfectly placed outside of the city. Staff is so welcoming I will be staying again and again

We stayed at elegant Hyatt Regency Danang Resort we were in Da Nang, central city of Vietnam. Hyatt Regency located at Non Nuoc Beach. Hyatt Regency had a magnificent entrance, gorgeous lobby and exceptional hall. Our bedroom was large with king-sized bed, sitting area, modern closet, and contemporary bathroom. Service was excellent and responsive when needed. Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect. Well-dressed breakfast buffet at Green House. (See attached pictures). Bedroom was comfortable and well set. We had enjoyed walking along Non Nuoc Beach, swimming in the stylish outdoor pool. We hoped we could stay for one more day.(We had stayed two days) Read less

Overall the resort does not disappoint, with its sprawling grounds, well appointed roomsand true beachfront location. Initially I wasn’t sure about the overall aesthetic (a bit concrete bunker like), but I really warmed to the facilities over our three night stay. Other than the higher rise residences, which by no means overshadow the landscape, rooms are in 2-3 story blocks, lending a definite resort rather than hotel feel to the experience. As we remembered, the beach quality is world class - clean sand and water, enough swell for some interest factor, and no stingers or creepy crawlies. We are from Perth, Australia so a high bar for us! You might like to know: Beds - far too firm for our middle aged joints. We asked for a mattress topper, but there was little difference. Three nights is simply enough, which is a shame. Club package - it seems a lot of families with small children go for this. If you have visions of romantic interludes over free flowing French champagne, this is not the place for you. Club wine selections are very average, and the food a bit hit and miss (on our first night there were plenty of options, but the last night we were there almost nothing of interest). Rooms- other than the mattresses, very light, stylish and comfortable. We loved the added touch of the walk in robe/closet. Fitness centre is well kitted out. Must try: fitness centre pool if you want to escape the kiddie crowd at the main pool; ‘baguette’ - the tucked away onsite patisserie including decent coffee. Their mini-mart also house so reasonably priced essentials including liquor. As the resort is a few kilometres from Da Nang, most things of interest are a taxi ride away. Better still, try ‘Grab’, which is similar to Uber and plentiful in the area. All in all a thumbs up. We would come back if a good package arose, otherwise we we would probably try somewhere different. Read less

The Hyatt in Da Nang is on a beautiful large property right on the beach. The pools are spacious for cooling off from the oppressive humidity. The staff service in the restaurants was not guest oriented. The staff were often times not around when we completed our meals and were ready to pay and take part in other activities. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff keeps the rooms immaculate, and the temperature in the rooms are perfect - cool but not frigid. The weather in Da Nang was not pleasant, which severely detracts from the overall experience. It was oppressively hot and humid when the sun was out, and there was a thunderstorm deluge that curtailed outdoor experiences. Read less
