The hotel

Overlooking an immaculate stretch of white sandy beach with breathtaking ocean and mountain views, the Hyatt Regency opened its doors to guests just a few years ago, gaining an excellent reputation since. Family-friendly, there are amenities galore as well as rich cultural and tourist attractions nearby. The main swimming pool is just steps from the ocean with great views for parents to admire whilst the kids splash around. There’s also a more secluded garden pool and a lap pool for fitness enthusiasts. After a busy day sightseeing, there’s nothing better than to relax at VIE Spa, a haven of peace and serenity, there’s the Mountain Air treatment to energise and uplift, The Expansive Sea treatment to calm and de-stress and the Pure Earth Treatment to purify and nourish. If it’s hard to choose between them, simply indulge in all three! There are plenty of sports available too including tennis, basketball and volleyball. Three dining venues offer an exciting mix of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. The Green House is warm and inviting with floor-to-ceiling windows, at the Pool House you can dine al fresco whilst the Beach House overlooks the Son Tra Peninsular and serves delicious meats and seafood fresh from the grill.

We stayed at the resort from Nov. 3rd to Nov. 5th and enjoyed the facilities on offer. Great breakfast and excellent dinner was offered at various restaurants. Service was great and attitude of staff was always friendly. Unfortunately we could only stay for 2 nights although we'd wished it was for a longer period. What we found remarkable is the very high number of South Korean guests. In the beginning we thought we'd be in Seoul or Pusan rather than in Vietnam. Read less

While the Hyatt Regency in Da Nang is considered a resort, I went for a "business" trip for my Charitable Foundation. The level of service I received is as good as any of the finest hotels in the world. Virtually every employee addressed me by name, knew where my room was located, remembered something about me and my reason for being there, and… Read more

A wonderful resort away from the hustle and bustle of Da Nang city. We stayed in one of the Regency suites which felt modern with a relaxed vibe to it, perfect for a resort experience. The bath was definitely the highlight of the room, which overlooked onto the beach. If you stay here do yourself a favour and have the buffet breakfast. During peak time in the morning it's a little busy (might be a short wait to enter), but it's worth it. The options were endless, both local food (pho, banh mi, rice cake, Vietnamese pastries) and continental options are provided. Try the banana pancake, you won't regret it. It's at times like these you wish you had 3 stomachs. Ms Tiffany Do and her team provided fantastic and personalised service for us during our stay (the mango cake was a beautiful touch). Special mention to also Calvin from the Regency Club check-in, and Aaron at Regency Club canapes who were both extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a highlight of our Vietnam trip, and one of the top Hyatt Regency's around! Read less

We came back to this property after our wonderful experience a year ago, and this property did not just live up to our expectaction but exceeded it with the excellent service we received. Ms. Do, Guest Experience Manager, was very on top of our reservation, she set the tone from the moment our reservations was confirmed. She greeted us warmly when we checked in and went above and beyond to accomodate our request to have the same room from our last stay. The staff is very warm in this hotel, you are greeted with a smile at all times. The Regency Club Lounge has an excellent crew from Ms. Tam Nguyen, Outlet Assistant Manger, Ms Rachel Pham, Ms. Elsie and Chef Nga along with the rest of the staff, really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We also enjoyed meeting with Chef Tran Long from the Green House, his enthusiasm and love of Vietnamese cuisine is apparent from our interactions with him. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely plan to return in the future. Read less
