The hotel

Overlooking an immaculate stretch of white sandy beach with breathtaking ocean and mountain views, the Hyatt Regency opened its doors to guests just a few years ago, gaining an excellent reputation since. Family-friendly, there are amenities galore as well as rich cultural and tourist attractions nearby. The main swimming pool is just steps from the ocean with great views for parents to admire whilst the kids splash around. There’s also a more secluded garden pool and a lap pool for fitness enthusiasts. After a busy day sightseeing, there’s nothing better than to relax at VIE Spa, a haven of peace and serenity, there’s the Mountain Air treatment to energise and uplift, The Expansive Sea treatment to calm and de-stress and the Pure Earth Treatment to purify and nourish. If it’s hard to choose between them, simply indulge in all three! There are plenty of sports available too including tennis, basketball and volleyball. Three dining venues offer an exciting mix of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. The Green House is warm and inviting with floor-to-ceiling windows, at the Pool House you can dine al fresco whilst the Beach House overlooks the Son Tra Peninsular and serves delicious meats and seafood fresh from the grill.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency DaNang Resort and Spa. The property is lovely but the employees at the resort are what set it apart and what made my stay most memorable. They addressed me by name and treated me like royalty. Never have I been treated so well at any hotel and I’ve had the good fortune to stay at some of the best. I… Read more

We just spent two weeks in the modern Hyatt Resort and wish to convey our admiration for the change that has happened since our visit 20 years ago. Besides Hyatt, there are several new hotels in Da Nang and many new are being built. Hyatt has several classy accomodations from residences to suites and villas - something for everone’s need. These are located on the pristine sandy coast of the then called China Beach. There are three restaurants - the Beach House prepares excellent a la carte surf and turf dishes, Green House promotes tasty asparagus specialties and Pool House serves delicious light meals, as well as fast food. There are several pools for different user groups and a well equipped fitness Center with saunas etc. The Resort is a delight for everyone, but the lounge services upgrades your residency to a new level with coctails, snacks and breakfast in the morning. The service is friendly and takes into consideration personal wishes. We’re glad to have been able to enjoy this. The Vietnamese people left a positive experience which entiches your vacation to new level. Read less

This property has a fine location, great design, friendly staff and a lot of space. Rooms are also kept well in shape 7 years after being constructed. It also is one of the best locations when you travel with family with children. It requires in the floor management to keep up the standards. This is failing big time. From Breakfasts to landscaping to pool, it all is just not properly maintained. That is not the fault of the staff, but of the management of the property. And that truly is a pity. It maybe that the property is understaffed, but it clearly shows. Elevators for instance are dirty and worn out. This is all oke if this would be a local managed property, but it is not. When you see standards slip to this level, it is simply not worth the 250-300 odd USD per night to even contemplate a stay. Read less
