Naman Retreat

Danang and Hoi An, Vietnam

The hotel

Promising all the luxuries of contemporary beachfront resorts, but all the charms of Vietnam, Naman Retreat is a union of bold modern styling and authentic accents. Bamboo architecture, coconut trees, Danang’s silvery sands, dining inspired by the kitchens of the Imperial Citadel in Hue; you’ll be immersed in the unique quirks which make Vietnam so alluring. But contemporary indulgences come thick and fast too. Indulge in the ‘no wall’ spa and enjoy a complimentary daily spa treatment as part of your package. Coffee Club’s baristas add high tea and homemade pastries to their coffee repertoire. Rooms include beach and pool villas. And bars range from B Lounge, with its Asian-fusion food, tapas, shishas, and DJ, to beachside Sitini Bar, with its Vietnamese desserts and bar snacks paired with ocean views. With a complimentary shuttle service to Hoi An, the Naman is the perfect getaway for those looking to twin the sights of this intriguing area with an indulgent and romantic escape.

Thank you for giving my family memorable memories. Beautiful beach, clean and romantic. In the afternoon, free coctail is very delicious. Naman green space is the most remarkable resort in Da Nang. We put a lot of research before going to Danang, since we wanted something not so big and more intimate. The moment you turn off from the road and enter the Naman Resort, you feel like in another world. It is calm, quiet, beautiful plants all over. Many of the Hotels & Resorts in Danang are enormous in size and much too big for our liking. We were there for six nights and would have stayed forever. We booked a 2-bedroom pool suite and were so lucky to get upgraded to one of only two ocean-front 3 bedroom villa. This place was out of this world! We were just smiling all day, chilled on our terrace and watched the ocean from our swimming pool. The Beach is stunning and very, very clean. So is the water. There is not one single rock or anything. Another advantage, than the Naman Resort has, is that there is no construction like everywhere else to the left and to the right. It is absolutely quiet. You will always have a member of the staff in each department, who speaks very well english. Some of the waitresses and waiters are still learning, but, and this I find much more important: everyone is super friendly, helpful and nice. They are all giving their best. We always had dinner and breakfast at the main restaurant. The people there were absolutely adorable and the food, especially the Vietnamese dishes were fantastic. The breakfast buffet is one of the best, that we have ever seen. There is nothing, that is left out. I think I gained 10 pounds. What I also liked very much, is that I gave my whole suitcase into their laundry. They were so nice and gave me a 40% discount, so my tons of clothing came back clean the next morning and the cost was 30 USD. If you are looking for a cosy, clean and very beautiful resort, then Naman is the right place for you. There are plenty of activities, we went to Hoi An (wonderful) and rented a scooter to go to the Hai Van Pass (breathtaking) and into the countryside to My Son Holy Land, which was fantastic as well. We absolutely fell in love with Vietnam, the awesome food and the friendly people. We will come back, as soon as we can. Read less
