Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa

Danang and Hoi An, Vietnam

The hotel

In homage to the nearby town of Hoi An, this resort replicates a traditional fishing village with small streets, water ponds and village houses with clay-tiled roofs clustered around Chinese cloth lanterns. Extremely charming, it is also very comfortable with well-equipped guest rooms and a warm, restful atmosphere. Water sports can be found on the beach or you can grab a mountain bike and cycle through rice fields. The Victoria Spa offers a wide range of therapies with four stylishly designed treatment rooms and a beach massage house – whilst the kids' enjoy the myriad activities at the kids club, head over for an hour or two and indulge yourself! Casual all-day dining is offered at the L’Annam Restaurant, overlooking the sea, with freshly caught seafood a speciality. Alternatively, you can enjoy a romantic evening Vietnamese-style, down by the ocean with a Champa cushion and old-fashioned storm lamp, feasting on local cuisine.

Lovely hotel, staff were amazing, room was great. Loved the pool area and the daily breakfast was the best of our trip. Shuttle bus into town was great. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend. The night time live singers were great. Restaurant slightly expensive and meals weren’t the best (fish was overcooked) but very easy to go… Read more

Victoria Resort was just what we needed after the busyness of Saigon! Our room was clean, comfortable and cool even though it was cloudy for most of our 5 night stay. The breakfast was excellent, although there weren’t a lot of options for people with gluten or lactose allergies. The staff were very friendly, however it was a little difficult to be understood as not all staff at reception could speak English. The little extras like a shuttle into the old town, complimentary drinks by the pool and turning down service at night , made our stay very enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this resort ! Just returned from a fabulous holiday with family from Australia. Everything was lovely, nothing too much trouble for the staff, who always take time for a chat. Incredible breakfast, beautiful rooms, lovely pool and beach including food poolside. wonderful spa. My only beef is the prices in the restaurant, so expensive, that its almost empty most nights as the local restaurants are so good and cheap, I cannot understand why the management haven't thought about reducing the cost to increase customers, as although the food is very good it cannot be viable. It would have been more convenient to eat at the hotel, but cost proved too much. Read less

Have to say the bar staff very helpful and service second to none. The bar manager Cuong Dola amazing person so helpful and personality plus, he made us some amazing cocktails which were just as good if not better than we have had in other countries. If you are staying here look for this young man amazing you will not be disappointed. He is an asset to the resort. Read less

We stayed here six nights in what was probably the hottest time of year. Our room was a garden view room and we had a little glimpse of the sea from our room. The resort has a shuttle bus into Hoi An which we used a few times or just caught a taxi which cost about 100,000 dong each way. We used the massage services and they were fantastic and relaxing. We also went on their side car rides and that was great to see the area around Hoi An from a motorbike. The breakfast choice is varying from western to Asian cuisine. The pool staff were fantastic and were always on hand to provide towels etc. Our most favourite part of this resort was relaxing by the pool or bar. We found the bar staff to be so helpful especially Cuong Dola, he was always happy to have a chat to practice his English and was also good at recommending different drinks to try. If you are staying at the Victoria make sure you find Cuong as he will definitely look after you. He is a great asset to the Victoria. I would stay here again it was a nice and quiet resort. Read less
