Park Hyatt Hotel Saigon

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The hotel

A modern makeover may have seen Park Hyatt Saigon reopen with guest room luxuries like mini iPads and Nespresso machines, but it hasn’t lost its signature French Colonial soul, from the décor to The Pastry Boutique, a patisserie filled with delicate treats. Overlooking Lam Son Square’s Opera House, the truly central location hasn’t stopped Park Hyatt adding a luxury limo service for indulgent sightseeing. And there’s added panache when you return too, with 24-hour Butler and Concierge services, and dining experiences like the Saturday afternoon tea buffets of scones, pastries, tartlets and desserts; Vietnamese clay pot specialities; Sunday brunches with free-flowing Bollinger; DJs and drinks at 2 Lam Son; and Vietnamese cookery classes, which kick off with a Cyclo or Vespa ride to a local market to pick up ingredients.

The hotel should offer deep discounts to guests at this facility, which was under construction. Noise pollution was disturbing to our stay. It's our first time in Vietnam, and we felt that the hotel rate was excessive for the quality of stay we had, compared to Sofitel in Guangzhou where we stayed before arriving at the Hyatt in Vietnam.

Was staying in HCM City for a few days - so decided to stay here- great choice! One of the finest hotels in the world! Even though they are remodeling- it’s still awesome! Check in was flawless! I have stayed at the Park Hyatt 6 times in the last 2 years and I have already posted one review already about the hotel. I have decided to post another review based on my collective experience at the PH Saigon. The PH Saigon should be commended on running a world class hotel in a poor country like Vietnam. The staff are wonderfully trained. The food is exceptional and consistent with Square One and Opera being truly excellent restaurants. The service is always impeccable and importantly, management will listen to customers' feedback to fix issues when things don't go according to plan. An outstanding achievement and well done to everyone at the PH Saigon. Read less

My children loves the gnocchis . The pool is also very tranquil and a place to relax in a busy city. You are served a welcome drink upon arrival to the pool. Something extra at this hotel is that after a day out/ in the afternoon you are often meet by cocktail makers outside the elevator of each floor making a cocktail. A nice surprise! Also everywhere you go you are meet with smiles and exceptionally good service. All workers from doorbells, to receptionists, to maids, to waiters, etc seem to make you feel special with their smiles and high service level. Highly recommended!!! Read less

The room is clean and comfort. Even the street of Vietnam is very noisy, the sound proofing in the room is awesome. You can’t hear any noise from outside the street. The breakfast is super delicious, MUST TRY. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Best stay ever.
