From the minute you step foot out of your car, you are treated as an individual. Staff are attentive and efficient without smothering. They are aware of what you need and when you need it, they are always one step ahead. Totally loved my stay here. Thank you.

This was a big holiday, first time to Vietnam which included a 10 day tour from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min. I wanted a great hotel at the end to relax and Trailfinders in the UK said the best hotel was Anantara. Trailfinders has high standards, some of the previous accommodation on the tour (not related to this hotel at all) had been mixed. I expected a great hotel for a 10 day stay. We arrived after a 4 hour drive, the hotel is a lush oasis of calm, the reception is spacious and welcoming. Drinks on arrival, the offer of a neck massage was also welcome. I booked a sea view room and we were allocated room 331. The room is an incredible size. Ceiling to floor windows of the gardens and sea. It is stunning. The balcony is also huge and L shaped. Everything we could has wished for was provided. The welcome in the room (including a personal welcome on the bed made from leaves) were all just really thoughtful. This is a truly 5 star hotel, the staff are overly attentive, everything from meals, room cleans daily are considered and excellent. There is nothing to fault this hotel, you simply pay for what you get. The hotel is the ONLY 5 star in the area. Mui Ne is popular with Russian tourists, and I did have reservations but not in this hotel. Other local hotels had loud music, but at the Anantara is just lush gardens, a stunning infinity pool, great service and views. The spa is expensive but in my opinion also first class and worth the local spas are hard to weigh up, the quality at the hotel, with all natural products was exceptional. I had a great salt rub and facial. If you are in Vietnam and looking for a treat at the end of a tour then Anantara is the only place for a spectacular stay. Thanks to everyone for an incredible stay. Read less

We stayed at Anantara for two weeks in April and all in all it was a very nice holiday. The one bedroom pool villa was amazing and very clean, having the pool to retreat too was fantastic with a lovely seating area to enjoy a drink or room service, the hotel was very friendly and did everything to make your stay as nice as possible. Big shout out to Thuy in reception (good luck with the baby! 😘) we stayed half board which was more than enough. They very kindly aloud us to order our lunch or dinner to our villa which was fantastic on days when you just wanted to relax. I did struggle a little bit with the food choices as I don’t eat fish or seafood, and thought there would be a little more choice of meat, but had to stick to pretty much the same thing over and over, we had the BBQ twice while we were there hoping as it was buffet style there would be more choice but it was all seafood that was bbq’d so again stuck to salads and noodles that I had to pick the seafood out of, my husband was in seventh heaven as he loves seafood!. A couple of little niggles that could be improved on were; The use of so many plastic bottles in the villa, instead of using refillable glass bottles (that we have had in other resorts ie Maldives, Thailand) we were left 6 bottles of water every day which is definitely NOT good environmentally even though they were put in the recycle bin they still in my opinion shouldn’t be offered when there is an alternative. The other little things were the lighting in the villa was awful, you could hardly see in the toilet it was so dark and the vanity area was very poorly lit, also the vanity area was Very small with not a lot of room for toiletries, same with the wardrobe with hardly any space and only one drawer between you, (my husband lived out of his suitcase for two weeks) The breakfast had plenty of choice but everything was very slow to be replenished and we spent a lot of time waiting for empty stations to be refilled as there was no one walking around to keep an eye out, The hotel is beautiful and the staff lovely we had a very nice stay but we wouldn’t return I’m afraid.
