Our unit comprised 2 large double beds, spacious bathroom with deep old-school bath and separate powerful shower, balcony overlooking nearby snow capped peak and large open log fire (didn’t need this as weather was warm). Good strong WiFi signal (free) throughout the complex A little distance from downtown Banff but the courtesy vehicle was available at short notice whenever we needed it. Reception staff and courtesy drivers were all very friendly and helpful. Kiwi Kate was particularly memorable in her helpfulness to our party! The Buffalo Mountain cafe on site was very handy and a useful alternative to the a la carte menu in the main restaurant. Read less

A beautiful, rustic resort to totally relax in. Lovely, quiet location with great access to restaurants in Banff. All the staff were exceptional. The Lounge area was cozy and quaint along with all the decor of this favorite resort of mine. Great shuttle service for Banff in a new vehicle. Driver was friendly and service oriented.

Just an average room. It did not look as nice in person as the photos make it look online. We booked because we wanted a gym and spa and those amenities were being updated while we visited so not only was it noisy, we couldn't use them.

Chose to stay here because it had suites and wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of Banff Ave. Main lodge was beautiful and cozy. Room was filthy -furballs/dust bunnies on carpet. Housekeeping only came once in 3 days. Our 15 month old son to crawled and played on the carpet; he literally had black hands and knees. Great restaurant - food… Read more

Wonderful view from our room. Clean room. Friendly shuttle service from the lodge to downtown. Wonderful wood fire place, just a pity that the over sensitive smoke detector in the room prevent us from using the fire place more than once. Everything else was wonderful. We loved the deep bath tub.
