Nice Hotel, Rooms are nicely renovated/decorated, Front Desk Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of flies on site - in the room, the pool, lobby, Forte restaurant. Disappointed with the lack of restaurants - Ate at Forte for dinner and lunch. There is no lunch menu at Forte and choices are limited. (same as the dinner menu) Had booked the… Read more

Disappointed with the lack of restaurants - Ate at Forte for dinner and lunch. There is no lunch menu at Forte and choices are limited. (same as the dinner menu) Had booked the nordic spa a month previous to our stay but was only able to reserve one spot due to capacity limits. I called back weekly and the day of travel to check if there were cancellations, however I was advised there was no spots. Once on site I checked at the actual spa who advised there was several spots open and that they had not reached capacity. We found out after we checked in that Woody's Pub is open on Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm. I had called that morning and the hotel advised Forte and Blacktail Bar were the only operational restaurants on site. Read less

I could say that it was a very nice hotel and I was amazed with the facilities. I have booked for one night just a get away from the busy city of Edmonton after started working in July. First time to use my member benefit and it was a good rate indeed. I got request and everything was granted. The person named Jacquline(hope im right) was very pleasant on the phone and trying to make my stay memorable. When on my way to the Pomeroy signal was bad going to ram falls, abraham lake, crescent falls, banff and canmore. Never expect that we will travel around going there so it was tiring. I got an emai from concierge and asking me to send a note in order to make my stay memorable, so i c=send them an email about getting to the pool around 7 pm. No response. when I check in I told the desk that i send an email to the cocncierge and she just said that its not active. So register ourselves in the q scan to book and of course nothing is available on the day of the arrival so we book down stair. The person doesn't know that pool is operated at 7 am. Yo cut the story short we ended up in the pool at 7 am instead of 7 pm. for a very long journey it should have aa good sleep after dumping in the hot tub and the pool. So is it memorable - no. Hope you resolve simple communication thru emails team knowledge about operating hours and friendly front desk. because she just blame the person from the pool that he is wrong without any apology. Good thing we didn't book the spa or else they might mess it up again. Better call not email- learnings. Read less

We love to do staycations at this beautiful resort only 45 minutes out of Calgary. Spent a couple of nights there and had a wonderful time. Good stay for 4 adults and 2 kids. The location was a bit confusing if you are using google maps. So, I would recommend to just follow the road sign and go from there. We stayed on the bi-level loft and there was so much space. There is bathroom on the upper and downstairs bedroom. Walked around a beautiful scenery with wide picnic area just… Read more
