This is a lovely rustic place to stay in an amazing location. So quiet and serene. Great hiking around the lake. Don't forget your park pass. Food was excellent and well served. Well worth a visit for either relaxation or an energetic adventure. Lots of birds.

I had never been here before -- came for the wedding of dear friends. It was such a great experience! It is a gorgeous location, and while the lodge could use a little upkeep (one of the blinds in our room wouldn't go down all the way and let a lot of light in at night), everything was overall fantastic!

Very scenic location. Rooms very basic and beds not comfortable, but the wood fireplace is very nice to set the ambiance. Food is way overpriced relative to portion size ($22 for two scallops!). Staff was hit and miss - restaurant staff were great; front desk gave us the impression they had better things to do than talk to their customers.

Overall the location is stunning with the views of mountains and lake thus the overall rating. As for the rooms Especially for the nightly rate. They were very dated, dark and needed a complete redo. Uneven tile in bathroom. Wobbly toilet. Cobwebs in ceiling. Mattress needs replacing. Disappointed about water advisory.
