Great hotel with a view of the mountains and close to Lake Louise and Moraine. The pool with 3 hot tubs is just what you need after hiking all day. 2 nice restaurants on site. Each room has its own patio/balcony. Nice place to stay, close to everything.

We were looking for a place convenient to the Columbia Ice Fields. Lake Louise Inn happened to be one of the less expensive, options for at $200/nt . There were 3 of us so I asked at check-in to alter our reservation to a 1-bedroom. I was told they had already upgraded me and that the room they were giving us was a better option. The Inn is rustic with the old Motel style of rooms with exterior entrances. Ours being on the ground floor. The bathroom had been recently remodeled with a modern flare and the rest of the room was decent with a nice little balcony. Unfortunately we were situated in an "adjoining" room and you could hear just about every conversation going on in the next room. We ate at one of the two hotel restaurants (Pizza/Pasta). There is also a pub option. The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get, but not outlandish by any stretch and we did enjoy our meals. There is a large indoor pool and a 24 hour fitness facility on site. There is a mandatory "resort" fee, whether you use the facilities or not. But it is a per unit charge and for our stay it was only $8. Overall this is an o.k. place to stay for one night but I'm not sure I'd be willing to spend much more time than that there. If you don't mind a "rustic" old style motel, then it is more than adequate. But if your you're used to staying in modest chain hotels like a Courtyard or Hampton Inn, then you're not going to have that same experience. Read less

Good location to use as a base that’s in a quieter area. Hotel offered good facilities with pool and hot tubs and restaurants on site which offered good food. The staff were very pleasant and helpful .

The room location was next to the swimming pool and the restaurant therefore there was a lot of noise and made it hard to sleep. Eating options were plenty and we had a very good healthy feed across the road at the hostel which I would highly recommend. The amenities in the room were good.
