Delta Montreal

Montreal, Canada

The hotel

Close to all the sights you want to see, the Delta Montreal couldn’t be better placed. It’s also very comfortable with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, the perfect base for relaxing in fact, in between pounding the streets that is! Just one street north is Sherbrooke with its museums and trendy boutiques, or head on over to Mont Royal Park and immerse yourself in nature. Two blocks south are the restaurants of Ste-Catherine Street; go a little further and you’re into Old Montreal with its unique cobblestone streets. When it comes to ‘putting your feet up’, you’ll be glad of how spacious and well-equipped your room is. There’s also a restaurant should you not want to venture too far, where you can feast on local dishes or sip on the latest cocktail. For those with energy to spare, there’s a fitness centre too, complete with indoor swimming pool, squash courts and saunas. The Jacuzzi is also popular, soothing tired limbs as you reflect on yet another action-packed day.

Overall, this was an excellent hotel with all the amenities required to make travellers of all shades - business, solo and couples - comfortable. Overall, this was an excellent hotel with all the amenities required to make travellers of all shades - business, solo and couples - comfortable. While the staff were always professional, I found them a bit too serious and lacking real warmth. The rooms are large and have nice views, and the location is very convenient for access to the city, airport and outlying areas. For elite members, I found the lounge offerings to be a bit sparse although the complimentary breakfast option offered to platinum+ members more than made up for it. Room service is also of excellent quality. It’s becoming my go-to hotel in Montreal. Read less

Very updated and great location. Felt very welcomed upon arrival,..and larger than average size room, for our family of four. A 20m indoor pool, with lane swim,..is a rare find in ANY hotel, let alone in downtown Mtl. Jacuzzi was always around 104', and gym was incredible in its own right. Breakfast was ok. Found the scrambled eggs, and french… Read more

Large room, good post-Christmas room rate, allowed us to take our two young boys on a downtown Montreal mini-vacation. The indoor pool was a highlight, and the fitness centre was unusually good. Shout out to Reginold at the fitness centre desk who was very nice after a couple of other guests made our kids feel not-so-welcome in the pool. Reginold… Read more

Shout out to Reginold at the fitness centre desk who was very nice after a couple of other guests made our kids feel not-so-welcome in the pool. Reginold even had some (excellent!) chocolates sent up to our room for our boys afterwards. Thanks—we'll remember you, Reginold, and happy new year! Read less

Hotel room was alright. It is located downtown so the good part is convenience. Front desk staff customer service could be better. Hotel needs to have staff walk the floor at night. There were kids running around late until 3:30am. All in all, stay was okay and in my opinion the rate per night is too high.

We stayed at the Delta during the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Delta was extremely accommodating, clean and friendly. The check in process was extremely fast as well as checking out.
