Loews Hotel Vogue

Montreal, Canada

The hotel

Every bit as fashion-savvy as its name suggests, Loews Hôtel Vogue is chic, sleek, and completely unique. Right in the thick of the action in Montréal’s Golden Square Mile, across the road from Ogilvy Department Store, it seems to sparkle from its light-flooded lobby to its well-groomed guestrooms, with their understated slate and taupe palette, their subtly fashionable zebrawood furniture and Vogue cover artwork, and their oversized bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and TVs. The guestrooms are so glam they’ve added 24-hour room service, in-room spa treatments, and free WiFi access as they know you’ll want to stay in to enjoy them. When you do venture out, you can grab complimentary cuppas at the lobby coffee bar, linger over cocktails at the bijoux Lux Lounge, and dine in sumptuous Parisian grandeur under the Tiffany style stained glass ceiling of La Société Bistro.

This place has some pluses such as location and staff who were great. It does look good from the outside and the pictures but the room I got was dated. It was very large with a huge bathroom but fixtures were old and the shower’s cheap fixture needs replacing. Construction directly across the street highlighted the old windows with lack of a soundproofing. Overall stay was a bit of a letdown given the price and expectations of the brand label. I’ve stayed in a few places in the area and had a better experience for less. Read less

Highly recommend this hotel. Very plush amenities and attentive staff. Being from Texas- friendliness is a must, and you will certainly find it here. King bed and pillows-slept like home, especially after full days of sightseeing. We will stay here again!

We came here for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great location, near shopping (Chanel, Canada goose, and mackage to name a few). The parking is very reasonable at 35 CAD a night. We checked in very late and Victoria was super accommodating and thoughtful with some additional recommendations on sights to see. They have an exceptional staff here and a great coffee machine in the lobby that my fiancé was grateful for. Overall it’s definitely a value for the money. Read less

We recently returned from a 4 night stay at the Loews Vogue Hotel with friends. Our priority was at a 4 star hotel in a great location convenient to the Montreal Jazz Fest. We got all of that and more. The staff could not have been more accommodating for appropriate recommendations and taking care of our needs. Our standard king room was large enough for a small lounge sofa at the end of the bed. It conveniently had a stylish glass snack table adjacent to the sofa it to place beverages and snacks while watching TV etc. The bathroom was large and well appointed with 2 robes and a jacuzzi. The only negative was the shower was a bit small. Our friends did not have an easy time adjusting the thermostat, and had spotty WIFI in their room, and no view. We had no issues with the WIFI and a decent view. The hotel was very clean and the maintenance staff attentive. The museum of Art, so worthwhile, was around the corner. Also within a 2 block radius are lots of restaurants and upscale shopping. 2 blocks away is an entrance to the underground, not a great destination but convenient in the winter. We Ubered to the Jazz fest at the Palace de Arts but you could walk it within 20 minutes. There is a gym which we did not use and a restaurant attached. The restaurant was ok, but I did witness someone complaining about cleanliness and service. Read less
