Novotel Montreal Center

Montreal Airport Downtown, Montreal

The hotel

Bright and cheerful, Novotel Montreal Centre greets you with a lobby of vibrant reds and soothing putties — and it’s got a lot to be cheerful about. Take its location for starters. Nestled among the downtown district’s biggest draws, it’s an easy stroll from the underground shopping of Rue Sainte-Catherine, the hockey games and live events of Bell Centre, and the dining and drinking venues of Crescent Street. Then there are the hotel ‘musts’ it delivers, including 24-hour fitness, fresh modern guestrooms, and a well-considered room service menu. And, of course, there’s L’Ô, whose kitchen whips up international and local eats. You can start your day there too, tucking into anything from croissants to their ‘Quebecker Breakfast’, which pairs sausages, bacon, and potatoes, with traditional Quebec cretons and scrumptious French toast — you can even order a mimosa if you’re feeling indulgent.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Modern hotel in decent location, no parking. Very good breakfast but a little expensive. Decaf coffee not easy to come by. Old town is about 20-30 mins walk. Restaurants and pubs nearby

This hotel has a fantastic location. Close to mcGill, bell centre, Catherine Street.... I come every year for the same meeting and they stay pretty consistent. Rooms are clean and noticed small upgrade to shower faucets.... Few things: 1. Called foodora and front desk would not let them up (it was after 630pm) and need a card to access elevators. 2. Stop using the disposable soaps, shampoos etc. Create so much waste. Use large pump and refillable bottles! 3. No hair dryer 4. USB outlets by the beds don't work! Great they built this in. Will come back! Read less

We stayed 1 night several nights ago with a group of 40. The hotel and staff were very good, it is well located for downtown visits, with lots to see/do in neighbourhood. Rooms are all recently renovated. Very comfortable nights sleep. Streets are extremely congested. Would return.

The hotel was nice overall - clean, new, big rooms. However, the staff was needlessly rude on countless occasions. Rude at check-in, check-out. When asked for dinner recommendations, one would have thought I was asking for something out of the ordinary and never got any real answer. My hairdryer was old and completely broken. When asked for dinner recommendations, one would have thought I was asking for something out of the ordinary and never got any real answer. My hairdryer was old and completely broken. I took it down to exchange for a new one and was told the "technician" would look at it. I'm not sure what hotel technician fixes old hairdryers, but was eventually given a new one. Overall I did enjoy my stay, great location but the staff needs serious work. May 15-18 stay Read less

No issue: the Novotel is central, close to town-center restaurants, to McGill university, to the museum of fine Arts. You have a Starbuck a few meters away if you want to change from the hotel breakfast (the hotel breakfast area is rather large). The overall internal decoration and the furnitures seem to have been renewed recently. The rooms are… Read more

You have a Starbuck a few meters away if you want to change from the hotel breakfast (the hotel breakfast area is rather large). The overall internal decoration and the furnitures seem to have been renewed recently. The rooms are large, with a nice "taupe" color for the bathroom (poor shampoo+shower gel set), and USB plugs can be found near the beds which are comfortable. Only drawback : the noise if you are on the street side when some young people want to make their car "roar" after 10PM. Read less
