I’d like to start out by complimenting the valet, breakfast buffet/ restaurant staff. Waterpark and other tourist trap activities all on site and make an overnight easy activity wise. Now for the poor review: Hotel advertises “kids eat free” and have dinner buffet. Checked in on a Thursday night, restaurant closed. Only their tiny Italian restaurant was open, certainly not kid friendly. The hotel room had a bad odor, carpet used and abused, furniture soiled and black in areas and looked to be 10+ year old motel furniture(orange). I stay at Marriott properties all over, am a “bonvoy” member - certainly this property fails to live up to the Marriott standard. Did I mention check in took over 20 minutes due to being poorly managed / under staffed? A dozen check in kiosks, one employee checking in. What’s the purpose of online check in if I still have to wait?! Not happy, I’d suggest staying at the buffalo Marriott downtown or Amherst which are much cleaner, updated properties. Extremely disappointed with Sheraton NF Read less

If I had to use one word to describe this hotel and the staff that's an easy one: WOW. We booked this hotel back in June or July for a January 3 night stay. We decided to extend our stay by one night a week or two ago and there was a small hiccup with the rate so I emailed the hotel directly and received a response in less than 5 minutes...on a Saturday! The person who helped me was named Ashley and she quickly resolved the concern. I was very impressed. Check in was backed up quite a bit as there was a hockey team checking in. I was impressed that the desk agents working took their time with the hockey teams as each person checked in explaining all of the important details of their stay. I never once saw any of the desk agents get frustrated or stressed. They maintained a positive attitude and kept the line going smoothly while making sure they covered the content with the teams. The line was long but I was at the desk to check in quickly. WhenI arrived at the check in counter the agent (I did not get his name sorry) informed me the hotel was upgrading me to a bi-level suite and acknowledged my Titanium status. I was extremely grateful and thanked him many times. This made our day! Incredible. The room was amazing, I was blown away that the hotel was so nice in providing this room to my wife and I. What a view! Very clean and well taken care of. During the week we enjoyed access to the lounge which provided wonderful complimentary offerings. I'm not sure there is a better hotel for location in all of Niagara Falls. Everything is close and everything you need is within walking distance. Housekeeping staff interactions were all positive and they did a great job. I want to actually give the hotel credit for something else I observed during the week- One night my wife and I were returning from dinner to drop our coats and head to the casino and the hallways had a gathering of hockey parents and hockey kids. It was a bit excessive but I observed security breaking up the situation based on the hotel receiving a noise complaint (was not us, never heard the hockey folks from our room the entire trip). Security acted professionally and polite but firm and handled the situation well despite one of the hockey parents being let's say "less than nice". Security remained professional despite this individuals behavior. The gathering was broken up and order restored. One day during our stay housekeeping brought extra bottles of water "just because". Everyone was so nice, I cannot stress that enough. This is a GREAT hotel, with GREAT staff. I sincerely could not speak higher of an operation and be more impressed with a hotel as I was Sheraton on the Falls. If you are on the fence book here and you won't regret it. A lot of the reviews on here mention taxes and fees, I don't think that is fair because the hotel does not hide any of these, its all out there in your booking and frankly the what you get makes the fees worth it so do your research and don't let that get in the way of you booking this hotel. It's a great choice. Amazing experience!!! Read less

Hotel was great, room was very clean and had the room where the door opens which was cool. Fireplace, hot tub, loved the room. Check in was terrible though, no where to park so we had to walk a couple blocks just to check in so that sucked but overall it was a great stay
