Travelled with hubby and 2 boys (9 and 12) for 2 nights. Check in was fine, but being a bonvoy member thought I would be offered an upgrade, but no. Our room was on the 12the floor. Carpet in hallway looked dingy and in need of a steam clean. The room was way smaller than what I was expecting and the bathroom was tiny. They have a rainfall shower and the showerstall glass only went halfway across and thus soaked the bath mat, had to use a hand towel to mop up all the water. In order to try not to get water all over, we tilted the shower head towards the corner, but that still didn't help. The next morning we left for fun at 10 am and didn't get back to the room until around 4:45pm and the room had not been cleaned and the wet mats were still in the bathroom. I had to go and find housekeeping and ask them to clean the room. Every hotel I have ever stayed at has rooms cleaned well before 2pm. This was very substandard! On night 2, my husband had a scalding hot shower - for whatever reason there was only hot water, even when pointed to cold... and he was shampooing his hair... Started out OK then went hot and stayed hot and scalding... He did not shower properly and was not happy. The location is great, but over priced for service and substandard rooms. My husband let the front desk know about the hot shower issue and the front desk guy apologized and comped our 2 days of parking - we did appreciate that as he self parking is at another hotel and $40/day! If I decide to go to Niagara Falls again I will not be staying here again Read less

But there are no snacks in the fridge.... they do give you two complimentary water bottles though. We did some sight seeing, Niagara Falls itself was pretty close to the hotel almost a five minute walk. When we finished we went to the pool... the pool was slightly outdated but it was fine, but about the sun loungers, be careful while getting on the sun lounger your knee or arm may slip through the sun lounger, the sun lounger is also very low, so you would get scratched easily! But other than that is wasn’t too bad! Also our bath tub was cracking and peeling so keep that in mind! I hope this was helpful! Read less

WOW! I’ve been to Niagara Falls 20+ times in my life, and this was hands down the most incredible experience! STAY HERE! AND GET THE FALLSVIEW ROOM! SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY! It’s magical! We are a family who typically spends a modest amount of money on a vacation, so we normally stay just off the hill or at least save money by not getting a room with a view. NEVER AGAIN! I will always stay here and I will always get their room with the view! It was unforgettable! I should note that my husband and I are in our early thirties and we travelled with our 4 yr old, 2 yr old and 4 month old baby. Three kids was easy peasy with this hotel choice! Two pools (one outdoor one with an amazing view of the falls, and an indoor pool with a view of the falls and the hill!), Clifton Hill immediately out the hotel doors, falls walks are right there, hop on the bus easily (but you won’t need to, because the location is unreal and you can walk everywhere!), staff are incredibly thoughtful, and the gardens that were restored just below the hotel are gorgeous to wake up to and great for strolling through! We watched the lights on the falls and the fireworks from our hotel room each night and it was the best view ever! The rooms even have a door that opens with a safety balcony so you can truly take in all the sights and sounds! On top of all of the above, we left our 2 yr olds ‘blanket’ that she’s slept with every night since she was born in the hotel room (rookie move, I know...!) and didn’t realize this until we got home - which is four hours away! I phoned the hotel and explained the situation, spoke with the very friendly operator who transferred me to the housekeeping supervisor on shift, who IMMEDIATELY checked their ‘lost and found’ and confirmed that it was there and accounted for! She sent me an email within minutes that allowed me to very easily follow their process for having items returned when you leave them behind. I completed the request online on Friday morning and her blanket was in the mailbox on Monday! Ridiculous! We are so thankful! I could go on for days but would be worried that people won’t read this review if it’s too long! They even have a variety of places (food options, arcade, the indoor waterpark) you can get to from indoors using a fun skywalk that saved us BIG TIME in a major downpour of rain! We have done all sorts of travelling throughout Canada and the US, and this is only the second review I’ve ever completed online (the first was a pizza place just outside of Algonquin Park!). I think that’s important to share because I’m only writing this because I genuinely think this is such a great choice! We cannot wait to get back to the Sheraton on the Falls and do even more exploring of this incredible wonder of the world! You go to Niagara Falls to see the falls, and this hotel is the greatest way to do so! Stay here - you won’t regret it! :) Ps. I was really worried about going to the falls in the summer because I was thinking it would be frustratingly busy. We always travel there between September-June. We went during the work week and it was completely manageable. Busy, but not overwhelmingly so! A new family tradition for sure! Read less

The hotel is at an amazing location and we were lucky our room looked out over the falls. We didnt eat at the hotel so cant comment on that however I did find the hotel and pool area a bit dated. Also even though there were a fair few lifts it seemed like each time only 1 was in use and stopping at nearly every floor.
