What a wonderful place to stay. The people that work there are some of the nicest humans that I have met. They are eager to provide information, service and make your stay a comfortable and delicious experience. I had hurt my foot and they took extra efforts in making sure that I was comfortable, well fed and informed. The pool was great and the restaurant served delicious meals. The restaurant staff were fabulous at providing me with breakfast so that I could get to my conference on time. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the idea of collecting aeroplan points if I chose not to have my room made up each day. It was an excellent venue for a conference and we were pleased with the rooms and meals. Thank you. Read less

Stayed 5 nights for a conference on the 6th floor with water views to the bridge and casino across the street. The location was excellent. You could access the mall and food court next door from within the building, and Enterprise car rentals the same way. It was a very short walk to the harbour front trail. I took the bus to and from the airport and could access the hotel from the bus stop, through the parking garage into the hotel. The room was clean, very comfortable beds, a USB charging station by the bed and lots of places to plug in the laptop. I would stay here again. Read less

Stayed here for an international hockey tournement. The rooms are clean and the staff are great though I had heard that the tournement had some problems witth mannagement. We never saw it. Found them very accommodating of our group of about 300.

First time staying- was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews saying it was old And dated. Whoever wrote those must Be very picky. Yeah it may be a little older but it certainly didn’t look it (other than some dark woodwork that is characteristic of older hotels). Yeah it may be a little older but it certainly didn’t look it (other than some dark woodwork that is characteristic of older hotels). This was by far one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been to in awhile. The bed was amazing... so comfortable and lots of pillows. The initial reason I searched this hotel was because of location. It has everything at its doorstep. You don’t need to go outdoors as you can use the pedways to get around. The only issue we had was parking. Following the directions from their confirmation email we found the parkade easily but weren’t sure if you park wherever or if hotel parking is in its own area. Regardless we parked and had no further issue. I will be telling my friends of the positive experience and will definitely be back Read less

We were at this hotel for a hockey tournament. It’s at a great central location for exploring the waterfront and downtown establishments. Lots of pedways across as well if the weather is inclement. There are stairs to the left of the lobby and one flight above the the scotia mall with a huge and varied food court including a Timmies and a Starbucks. There is also a very good restaurant in the lobby with some award winning seafood chowder you simply must try!! Warning about drinks at the bar though....very expensive! The room itself: ours was decent. Clean and comfortable but a bit dated. Some others had rooms that really needed updates. I always rate rooms in the beds. This one was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Pillows were excellent as well. Slept like a baby every night. Room had all the amenities needed. Wifi was not that great throughout the hotel. I eventually turned it right off because it was so intermittent. Elevators were an entity of their own. Some stopped uneven to the floors and others stopped randomly at floors without reason. A little wary of them and only 3 for the whole hotel so there was lots of waiting often. The view of the harbour from the floors were fantastic. If you have a chance to see it from the conference floors on level 8 it is spectacular! Overall a great hotel and would definitely stay there again. Read less
