Title sums it up. Could barely sleep as you can literally here someone on the toilet I’m the next room. May as well join conversations with folks in the hallway. Tried to stream a hockey game but kept losing internet connection.

I stayed at the Lord Nelson with my mother, we got an awesome deal from Hotwire. The hotel is absolutely stunning inside, the room was clean and modern with a huge TV. Very classy, super friendly staff. Only downside is parking was $30 per day over and above the room rate. I'd recommend for solo travellers, couples, or business travellers.

I was there for a week and enjoyed the well appointed guest rooms and the excellent, friendly staff. The service was great in the restaurant and all hotel staff were more than happy to assist with anything you could want.

Hotel location is fantastic - very central in downtown Halifax; right across the street from the public gardens, which is a wonderful space to take a walk during business meetings. The hotel building is very lovely inside - large rooms and palatial open space. Staff are great.
