From the doorman who has worked there for over 30 years to the employee who Lin the elevator who listened to our story of all the car problems we had on our trip, everyone who worked at the hotel were amazing

Had a great stay at the Lord Nelson, so happy they had a crib ready for my baby upon my request, made all the difference in how this little family was able to get a good nights rest, and the beds were extremely comfortable! Definitely recommend!

The staff were all friendly and eager to help. We had a social event hosted within "The Arms" bar and it went smoothly. Nice location, walkable distance to many other places… Read more

I spent two nights here as part of a business meeting/conference. It's an older hotel, but has been effectively renovated, with the effect of quality and practicality (neither ugly/shabby nor glitzy/grotesque). Good wifi, nice beds, really nothing to complain about!

I think what made this hotel so wonderful was the phenomenal staff. Hannah on the front desk, Ben, Styles and Scotty in the Arms Restaurant are all complete and utter professionals. Rooms were modern, spacious and the cleanliness was impeccable. We spent 5 nights in this hotel in Halifax and truly experienced the "Maritime Hospitality" at it's very best. Would definitely stay there again in a heart beat and would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone ! Read less
