Simply lovely experience from the minute we arrived. Check in was smooth and informative with directions and restaurant suggestions. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The hotel is gorgeous, very classy. Would definitely go back.

The location of the hotel is second to none in Halifax. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, going the extra mile at every opportunity. Wife and I were thoroughly impressed all around.

Love your staff - property needs work. Housekeeping however needs work. I had to follow up on the replenishment of the coffee abs dairy in our suite every day- despite notes, Staff very pleasant but not detail oriented.

As we needed to stay close to the hospital it was great walking distance. Thank you for the staff for accommodating us to check in early as we had a baby and needed a room ASAP from traveling so early in the morning to get to my mother who was dying. Also for accommodating family coming from ontario.

this hotel is in a fabulous location next to the public garden and walking distance to anything downtown Halifax or Dalhousie. the lobby and reception are beautiful and the front desk very helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions, arranging transporation, etc. the only slight criticism I would have is that the room we had looked directly across at a brick building/windows so it was a bit dark and no view. i think the rooms on the other side of the hotel or at the front would be great.
