This was my fourth stay at the hotel. I had previously negotiated a company rate at the hotel and had a good relationship with front desk manager. I had also met the GM and he told me that next time I stay to talk to him and he'd help me out. Upon calling, seems the guaranteed rate I got previously they wouldn't honour because the person left and they wouldn't let me speak to the GM because he was busy. Ultimately, I spoke to somebody else and they didn't offer any special rate or anything, even though I gave them their biggest corporate client at that hotel. That part was pretty disappointing. I was also disappointed because the welcome drink used to be a choice of beer or wine, but now it was hot chocolate. There was also what appeared to be an intermittent leak from the floor in our room. It wasn't really an issue, just damp carper. I let the front desk know. Finally, whoever put that couch in to watch TV must have a weird back because it was the least comfortable couch I had ever sat on, with it being very hard and actually a slant towards the TV so your back is on a forward slanting angle. very strange. Still a great hotel though and staff is very kind. Just a disappointing visit and likely won't be attending anymore and instead would probably choose the Westin or Chateau Laurier. Read less

The staff and the overall service of the Andaz is again outstanding and deserve the highest praises. All the steps from the check in, the room experience, the meals and drinks and most of all the front guest service by Alexandra and her colleagues was paramount to another exceptional experience

If you love winter, skating and walking in dancing snowflakes, visiting museums, you have to try Ottawa in January. A wonderful place to stay is close to the ByWard market, at Andaz. It is located at a walking distance from everything!

Right from Checkin to check out the staff were extremely helpful and willing. Ala carte Breakfast was extremely good and healthy options. Rooms were spacious and fresh. Bored off with a typical buffet serving, not here.

Great location and excellent service. The room was well appointed, great value for the price. Walking distance to the Byward Market made it very convenient to choose from the many restaurants available there. Always enjoy our stay at the Andaz.
