My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel to celebrate his birthday and visit Quebec City. I chose this hotel due to the excellent reviews on trip advisor! I booked a VIP reservation using my Infinity travel visa which gave us some perks. It included valet parking, buffet breakfast both days, free room upgrade and a $25 food credit plus more. When we arrived we got upgraded to a king suite with fireplace and veranda! Beautiful room with heated bathroom floors, lovely fireplace, 2 person bath and romantic ambiance. They had left a note for us with a delicious piece of chocolate cake to say happy birthday to my husband. 😊💕 The best part of the room was the bidet which is attached to the toilet and has a remote control. Heated seat and water to clean yourself with a dryer!! We had so much fun using this !! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the comforter was fantastic. We also had slippers and the best robes ever! There was complimentary coffee and tea in the room which was awesome. The hotel service was fantastic with turn down service at night and such friendly and helpful staff, especially the valet guys. We had dinner in the lovely bar which was excellent ! The buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant (chez Muffy) was the best ever! Eat as much as you want and you can order off the menu all you like. Coffee and service was great ! I would highly recommend this hotel. In the heart of the old city where’s you can walk anywhere. Can’t wait to go back in warmer weather ! Read less

Always clean and comfortable. The lady (I think Marie Jolie) at concierge was super helpful and even made a reservation at a restaurant for us. We went to the bar multiple times, had some great drinks always friendly service. Check out was easy as well, and they even had a small gift for us. I will happily recommend this hotel to anyone going to Quebec City! Read less

Rooms are modern, large and comfy. Returned to room after a long day touring to find jazz music playing and bed turned down. Wow! Concierge gave excellent advice for dining. Options in hotel were great also. Loved the decor and ambience and location

A charming hotel, this was a splurge for us. We do stay in nice hotels but typically not something at this high of a price bracket. For one night and a check in for our daughter's eleventh birthday, it was a memorable experience. We would opt to stay here again if visiting the city. I was fascinated with the history of the property with stone walls from the old warehouse in the rooms and artifacts throughout (in the desk and outside each room) as other reviewers have noted. Our king room was spacious and had a view of the river. The street this hotel is on is quite busy so ironically would probably avoid a view room next time since couldn't open the balcony with the noise. I loved the little attention to detail.. from a cake waiting in our room for our daughter's birthday celebration, to little red teddy bears for the children left during turndown service, to the ironing board built into the armoire. We continued our day of splurging by eating at Chez Muffy--yet another memorable experience--so convenient to head for dinner without leaving the hotel. Really a wonderful visit! Read less
