Great location. Great everything for the price we have paid. Definitely recommend this hotel if anybody’s going to Quebec and would spend most of their time around the old Quebec area. Taxi- $35 flat rate from and to the airport.

As a Diamond member for nearly 20 years, have stayed in many Hilton properties but have never come across a person as rude as Nicholas who is Greeter at Allegro Coffee Shop. People of his temperament and given the responsibly to take customers to tables says a lot for the hotel management. After checking in at the hotel, and being asked $70 for room upgrade, being given a room as antique as Old Quebec { Room 2023) , Executive Lounge with miserly offerings, this hotel offered a very poor impression of Quebec City we were visiting the first time. We will return to this property when we hear the hotel has got rid of rude staff as bad as Nicholas , have got rooms refurbished and have learnt to better handle Diamond guests Read less

We reserved to stay at Hilton for our 35 wedding anniversary, because we have already have a memorable stay years ago, We remembered the great restaurant, the unforgettable food they served, the canapes before supper from 5PM to 7Pm, the great view.... At our arrival we were greeted by a doorman , who took the tip but forgot to bring our luggage to the room. The Front desk receptionist Isabelle was smiling and took her time with us. Another guy brought our luggage after I called the operator, who was extremely nice. Isabelle sent me an email to ask how we were feeling so far - very nice. I said that I am very unhappy with the bathroom - the bathtub was old and rusty. The hotel was full so they could not offer us another room, they could not do anything , but give us coupons for the bar. I was not happy, but being so many years in the industry of serving customers and responding to their needs, i said that it was ok since they showed some concern for their customer experience. We were a bit late because of this misunderstanding for the 5 to 7 buffet, but we were met by an extremely nice young lady, who let us in. Unfortunately , nothing left, but chips We came down to see our surroundings. There were renovations made and we found just a little bisro with a small menu and very overpriced menu. We paid almost hundred dollars for two miniature portions of calamari, 4 gin and tonics and two beers, Anyways, if you decide to go, choose other places to eat. Read less

Jun 6, 2019 ME12164

We stayed in a junior suite with full view of the old town. It is absolutely one of the best views we have even seen from our room. The check in experience is good and efficient. Room decor is a bit dated but it is spacious enough. The outdoor heated swimming pool is a must go place in the hotel.

Overall the hotel was great. Our bed was not. They said we got an upgrade from our Kingsize bed. Get you our room and it was a nice room with a Murphy bed. We had to sleep 6 nights on a Murphy bed. I could barely walk by the 6 th day. There were no other rooms available when we went to get it changed back to our first room.
