We stayed here for just one night and I was a little apprehensive, given the location. However, I must say it turned out to be a gem. Past visitors to Kamloops might remember the major hotel in Downtown Kamloops being the Stockmens Inn, which eventually became overshadowed by more luxurious Hotel brands away from downtown. Well, things are changing believe me and for the Marriott group to put their name to this hotel means that things really have moved in the right direction. The Delta by Marriott is an oasis amongst the development of a truly different city. From check-in to check-out, our stay here was the most pleasant experience we have had in Kamloops. The reception was professional and pleasant and even though parking was extra, secure underground parking with valet service was available. The lobby bar looked inviting, but we elected to check our room on the 4th floor. Wow, what a pleasant room. Comfortable King-size bed and tasteful Dream Catchers above the headboard. Personalized big-screen TV welcomed us (really). Comfortable and tasteful space with a drinks table and armchair. Very impressive. We didn't try the room service, instead walked a block to one of the craft brew-pubs for drinks and dinner. We noticed next door, an ice cream parlor, and Pizza place. Art Gallery, would you believe and easy access to all the facilities in Kamloops. We'll definitely come back, but I'm sure we'd have to make advance reservations when the Rocky Mountaineer gets going again. Read less

As a Titanium member, I felt that they did everything possible to recognize my elite member status. They worked extremely hard to make things positive during this COVID environmnent. Everyone from the front desk, to restaurant, to pool were extremeliy helpful. Will definitely be back.

Had a 2 night stay at the Delta, was a good experience with nice updated rooms. They did have a outdoor pool, but as with Covid it was only a limited time that you could be using it. Did not seem too busy, so we could use the lounge / bar area without any issues. Would stay here again & downtown Kamloops is a very walk-able city.

Positives: The location is very good at the heart of the city center. Our room had view of the mountain (top floor). Bar and restaurant were beautiful. Good blinds, high-quality TV in the room. Comfy bed and pillows. Negatives: Parking was full and had $14 per night cost. The A/C did not have a fan speed control (it had On / Auto). We've asked… Read more

We've asked for a late checkout (and it was the end of the long weekend) but they didn't let us stay longer. Read less

Very excellent front desk staff, housekeeping, but did not eat there, and what a great pool for the kids to swim in. Great covid-19 thing done such as sanitizer on all floors and they had nobody in your room to clean while you were there.
