Apparently this hotel has recently been purchased and renovated. Tough to tell, because it looks brand new. Stylish and sleek, nice features. Well located, great stay. The only quibble would be the tiny bathroom, which looks great, but is truly a 1-person space.

We stayed at this hotel whilst on an organised tour so cannot comment on pricing or value for money. We were told that the hotel had recently been renovated so we expected a little more than what we got. The bathroom design was ridiculous. The room itself is quite small but the way the door is hung it clearly obstructs the toilet and more thought should have been given to that. You would expect more of a Marriott hotel. The main bedroom was quite roomy though and well furnished with an extremely comfortable and good sized bed. As we were only in Kamloops overnight it is hard to say much else but it didn't appear to have much going for it overall. Many of us came away from there a tad disappointed. Read less

This hotel was part of our Rocky Mountaineer package. We were very pleased. Central and very modern with friendly staff. Our bedroom was also very comfortable and modern. We did not eat here but the restaurant and bar area looked very nice.

My husband and our family had just departed the Rocky Mountaineer train in Kamloops with around 200 other passengers. We were bussed to the Delta Marriott. The Rocky Mountaineer had all the rooms arranged and our room keys in our hands before we left the train. Luggage had gone before us via truck and was placed in our assigned rooms. So it was there upon our arrival. (See separate review of the Rocky Mountaineer). Two of our party had been assigned separate rooms (they had wanted to be in the same room) and my husband and I had a reservation for the Mt Peter Suite. We had been given a king bedroom no suite. In the midst of helping 200 persons the manager put two of our party in a double queen m room together and reassigned us in the St Peter suite. But there was the problem of our luggage now not being in our new rooms. It took exactly 10 minutes to get our luggage to us. A great way to end a 9 hour train ride. The staff could. It have been more accommodating. The St Peter suite was just lovely. A separate sitting room with TV This is crucial for me because I have Restless Leg Syndrome. This causes me to not sleep well. So when there is a flare up I can go and watch some TV without disturbing my husband in the bedroom. And a BONUS the shower had a sitting bench. This is of course common in many showers. BUT there was a towel rack above it IN the shower. Far enough away from the shower stream to stay dry. Genius. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DELTA MARRIOTT if your travels take you to Kamloops Read less

Hotel was clean and the staff nice. The railroad tracks are fairly close but I do not remember hearing trains during the night. We were part of a tour so we were here for just one night. It is in a good location to walk down to the riverfront and to restaurants.
