We stayed here for a weekend in one of the chalets in early May 2019. We were travelling from a long distance away and arrived around 1:30, to be told we couldn't check in until 3 and that no chalets were ready. We returned at 3 pm and still had to wait almost an hour for our chalet. Once inside, we found the chalet adequate at best. Clean-ish, but a pile of dirty towels, some old garbage and a broken vacuum had been left on the entrance deck. It took three in person requests to the front desk to finally have someone come and remove it. The pool is lovely and the space there is nice but there is no information in your room/chalet about towels. When we arrived to the pool we asked about pool towels and were given one, for three people, then told that we should bring our own next time... But we only had enough towels in the chalet for a shower, no spares. Kind of ridiculous not to supply pool towels, like every other hotel we stay in. The ones with the blue stripe, that would make sense. Upon checking in, we were given two vouchers for breakfast, despite being a family of four and paying for four people. So strange. The next morning we went to the pool again and found the main lodge filled with a noxious burning plastic odour. It was very difficult to breathe and when we asked the staff what was the cause, we were told that the kitchen staff burned the chicken. Not sure what kind of chicken smells like melted plastic? The majority of the staff don't understand what guests want due to a language barrier. It is also clear that no one has any restaurant or hospitality experience. There is a sense that the whole resort is a sinking ship. We watched a construction worker wearing safety gear actually cleaning the next chalet for a group that was waiting. They told me later that they arrived at 2 pm, were told that their chalet wasn't ready, then returned at 5 pm to find out that it still wasn't done. One of the guests actually helped the construction worker to clean, and the guy kept saying that he was not a cleaner. I worked in hotels and restaurants for many years. I honestly thought the whole experience was an extended comedy bit. If I was the owner of this resort I would hire at least a few people who have training and experience in this field. The location is beautiful, the potential is incredible for this place to be a lovely retreat. But the joke was one me when we actually had to pay! And found out that they had automatically added a tip to the total. Thankfully that was refunded. I predict that this place will either be run into the ground within a couple of years if nothing changes in terms of staff, or it will be sold again. Even at half the price we paid, it's still no deal. Read less

Stayed here on May 3rd 4th at one of their chalets the place is in dire need of a professional management crew the only one that is holding it together is that lady named Tanya besides that all the rest have no idea how to do their jobs at all I'm talking zero capability from front desk to Bar service to restaurant to cleaning Maids it was brutal. The Chalet we stayed in was absolutely dirty there was leftover stuff on the cushions their was garbage left on the shelves I even found a flossing device left on one of the couches so not very happy at all with the set-up considering they want to try and charge you $189 a night for one of these three bedroom chalets try more like $60 cuz that's the standard that they're at right now. The only thing that was actually in good shape was the pool area was in mint condition well looked after the bar area and Lobby still looked quite good besides that though we never tried the food for breakfast because we talked to so many people that we're staying at the resort the same time we were and they told her it was terrible the breakfast the lunch they didn't know how to cook anything so we decided to play it safe and Skip all that. It's too bad that the new owners that have had it I think for maybe a year now, have decided to run it into the ground and have no idea or know how to invest properly in people that actually represent their place because it sits on a beautiful piece of land but that's all it's got going for it do not waste your time or your money and stay at this place. After inspecting the place. It smelled moldy and there was filth every where including the oven. bathroom . Dinning room. Called down to the office then went down to talk to some nasty rude woman name Tanya. Who snarled and looked at me like she couldn't care. And the looks of her. She ain't no prize boys. Just a real show . Poor quality of food in the resturant. Sad breakfast. Less than stellar serving staff. And the pool and hot tubs area smell bad. Waste of money. Stay at the 108 resort a lot cheaper. Friendly staff and not dirty. Read less

While using the pool my 5 month old almost caught 2 footballs to the head. When I informed the front counter that the pool was being used for roughhousing they simply said that’s too bad. It became clear after these low life’s were staff and friends of staff. This place houses scum of the earth!
