Walnut Beach Resort

Osoyoos, Rural British Columbia

The hotel

The hottest spot in Canada is home to one of its hottest lakeside hotels — the super-luxe Walnut Beach Resort. Along the private sands of Palapa Beach, which are washed by the waters of Lake Osoyoos, this design-conscious hotel looks out over the lake from its Sun Arbour Pool Terrace to its Vista Point Grill’s al fresco dining patio. Around the hotel, you’ve got glorious golf courses, family fun at Rattlesnake Canyon amusement and water park, snowsports in the distant mountains, and cultural centres and museums — but back at Walnut Beach Resort, it’s all about the water, whether you’re swimming in the lakefront pool, soaking in the two hot tubs, heading out for water sports from the hotel’s dock, or just dining with a lake view after cooking up a storm at the barbecue area, with its stainless steel grills.

Had a wonderful time at the Walnut Beach. Room was nice and clean ... the staff is very friendly and helpful too!! Floor tiles in bathroom need a bit of help ... grout needs to be fixed. Everything else was great. Really enjoy having the fridge, microwave and kitchen utensils. It's nice to make your own lighter type meals.

The grounds are nicely manicured . In the room I had to head to Lakeview with no balcony nice and spacious certainly could use a new record package but it was adequate . One problem I had was the air-conditioning was a very loud and will be in the evening. The entranceway to the resort lacks any grandeur as is the check-in area and you come in there’s stairs to walk up to get to it . Staff were friendly and accommodating . I would stay again Read less

My friend and I loved our stay at Walnut Beach. The beach is gorgeous and didn't seem to be used much so we had a lot of it to ourselves. The staff is friendly and help right away. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable weekend experience, treated well and the amenities were top notch. Would recommend this resort to friends and family alike. Two bedroom units were great to share with couples and also cost effective.

We came to this resort with another couple, both celebrating our 15 year anniversary. What a wonderful location right on a private beach! We enjoyed the poolside service of drinks/food. Easy enough to drive into town to dine at some of the local restaurants. We enjoyed walking along the paved path lake side. The rooms were super clean and made… Read more
