Stayed one night, rooms were very comfortable and very well equipped. Free WiFi worked very well. Staff were efficient and friendly. Rockford restaurant did a good breakfast. Location not down town but there were some stores within easy walking distance.

This hotel upon first appearance seems to be top notch. Nice decor, modern furnishings, good room layout, friendly and helpful staff at the desk. Then you stay there a few days and start to notice the blemishes. With time, it only got worse. This hotel upon first appearance seems to be top notch. Nice decor, modern furnishings, good room layout, friendly and helpful staff at the desk. Then you stay there a few days and start to notice the blemishes. With time, it only got worse. I stayed here over a month for work and I'm glad I wasn't rooting the bill because it's not worth $60/night with the poor housekeeping. Stains on the walls, lack of/absence of vacuuming, overflowing garbage and recycling bins, fridge with remnants of the last tenants foodstuffs, failure to restock supplies like dish soap and toilet paper, no cleaning of shower tile... that's really just scratching the surface. Also, after sending my laundry down to be cleaned (which I later found out was offsite), a portion of my clothes were missing and also was given somebody else's clothes instead. Another thing that was ridiculous were that the bathroom doors were spring-loaded, so they always slam behind you unless you close it all the way yourself. Not a big deal, but NOBODY else in the hotel grasps this concept, so you'll enjoy the jarring of doors all day. As well, they're wasteful - throwing away open soaps and shampoos that aren't even half empty. I wouldn't personally choose this establishment again. Extremely disappointing considering on my own dime anywhere else, I seek the Sandman. Read less

Very satisfied with the quality of the hotel and rooms. Was worried at first because I’ve had bad sandman stays so was happy with how updated and modern it was. Disappointed the pool was only open to 10 and not 11 like most places, however; I was satisfied with what the hotel had to offer. My one major complaint is it should include a continental… Read more

Disappointed the pool was only open to 10 and not 11 like most places, however; I was satisfied with what the hotel had to offer. My one major complaint is it should include a continental breakfast as it would be helpful to all the business people staying there, also the rates are not competitive. We have stayed in nicer hotels for less. Overall, would stay here again if there was a room sale. Read less

We stayed here for 6 night for a provincial hockey tournament. The check-in was long as we came in by bus and there were many people. The main lobby was welcoming, but the tile work on the main wall was poorly done. This was pointed out to me as we were waiting in line. There is no breakfast and the other amenities were very small. The main lobby was welcoming, but the tile work on the main wall was poorly done. This was pointed out to me as we were waiting in line. There is no breakfast and the other amenities were very small. The pool and hot tub is small. In fact, the hot tub was non-existent for our 6 day duration as it was out of order. It was closed down by the Health Authorities. Come on, 6 days. It does not take that long to drain and fill. The exercise room is small. The restaurant was good, but closed early. Does anyone work during Spring Break? There were lots of good places to eat nearby (Canadian Brewhouse, Mongolian Wok, Freshii, Subway, Montana, Mr. Mikes, Tim Hortons, Superstore). The excecutive room was nice as it had a sitting area and a desk. It faced the front which is a car lot. This place did its job, but we checked out the newly built Pomeroy Inn and Suites which was $20 cheaper a night, newer, free breakfast, and a bigger pool, exercise room, and lounge. You need to investigate a bit more. Read less

We booked this hotel through Expedia last minute. It was a nice newer hotel with a comfortable bed and felt clean. It also was very easy to get to coming from hey 97. I would recommend staying here and it was also safe and quiet and had a great hotel attached called the Rockford Wok and Grill.
