Clean and comfortable. Solid 4/5, however, I am knocking off a point as the front desk staff was rather standoffish during check-in. We were staying in various hotels during our road trip and the check-in process at Coast was by far the most condescending experience. The front desk agent’s response and tone were short and patronising, which is unnecessary as paying customers. We shouldn’t feel small for asking a simple question - if the hotel has any king-size beds available. All other staff were friendly, which we greatly appreciate. The location is a little out of the way from downtown Revelstoke, but close walking distance to the Mount Begbie brewery (down the hill). The hotel room was spotless and provide customers with the name of the housekeeper, which is a bonus for tracking purposes. Most of the balconies have a shared hallway, so don’t expect a private balcony unless you have booked a suite. Similar to other hotels during COVID, there is a limit of one family per elevator. Tip: Make reservations in the dining room if you would like a better view from the patio. We were surprised by the number of non-hotel residents eating there and it was quite full during dinner hours. Read less

We enjoyed our stay but had wished our room looked as nice as the photo's on their website. Not sure how the hot tub could handle all the guests in the winter as it is small. Lots of free parking. Close to town but not walking distance.

We chose this hotel because it is located a few minutes' walk from a well-known local craft brewery, that has a lovely outdoor tasting patio. It was the right decision. We chose this hotel because it is located a few minutes' walk from a well-known local craft brewery, that has a lovely outdoor tasting patio. It was the right decision. A tip for booking - we understood we were booking a preferred side mountain view room with a balcony. However, we were assigned a parking lot view room (mountains through the trees in the background). Staff told us we needed to call the night before or in the morning to request a preferred side, even though I had made this request in writing in advance. We appreciated they did what they could and upgraded our room to larger view room, albeit without a balcony. Read less
