I would stay again when traveling BC. I have stayed in Coast hotels in Kelowna and Victoria and this hotel for the price was well worth the stay. The only thing I felt was missing was a USB charging station.

I would strongly recommend this lovely hotel when staying at Revelstoke. While the village is not that spectacular this hotel is for sure! A lovely place and location with a jacuzzi with a beautiful scenery! Exceptional friendly staff! A perfect stay on our way to Banff - I wish we could have stayed longer!

Overpriced for what we got . Located about 3kms outside town , the bar shuts at 22.00 . Scenic views from hotel very good , but the property , particularly yeh bedrooms , were ‘ jaded ‘ . Would not recommend .

The first evening we had dinner in the hotel pub and the other evenings we didnt even bother to go into town. Just stayed in the hotel for a nice dinner. The breakfast buffet was really good and for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The just missed out one day of housekeeping. But the room was clean so no problem at all. Its a good place to visit Revelstoke park or Glacierpark, but dont forget, the scenery and hikes outside those parks are also worthwhile. Read less

I don't know quite what I was expecting; a very standard 'travel inn' type of experience perhaps? Whatever it was, the Coast Hillcrest didn't deliver it - it way surpassed it! For a start, the hotel is on the outskirts of town. We'd been told by friends that Revelstoke can be noisy, simply because there's a major rail junction in the middle of town and if you happen to be staying nearby, you'll know all about it. The Coast Hillcrest is far enough out of town (yet within easy reach) to be very peaceful. The views from the hotel (ask for a mountain view room) are absolutely lovely and if you're on a higher floor you'll see the birds hopping around in the trees right outside your room. The rooms themselves are spacious but what makes them special is the way they are designed and the thoughtful attention to detail. There are writing desks but also a table with an illuminated mirror above where us girls can do our make up. Power sockets are in the right place (hallelujah - how often does that happen?!) and the bathrooms (some have bath tubs, some walk in showers) are spotlessly clean. Several people have mentioned the staff and I will too. We had a slight problem with our room but it was sorted immediately, in the most efficient and friendly way, and we never for a moment felt that we were being a nuisance. The restaurant food was tasty and well cooked, and - in our opinion - great value for money. You can eat in the main restaurant or the bar, the menu is the same. There's a patio too for warmer evenings. The only thing wrong with this hotel is that its website doesn't do it justice. I believe Coast is a chain (or at least has several hotels within its group) and the website is very corporate, much like you'd expect from Hilton hotels. It doesn't show the hotel's rooms in the best light and it doesn't even mention the restaurant menu - or if it does, I couldn't find it. I spent my career in marketing so I guess I pick up on these things but whoever is responsible for engaging potential guests of Coast Hotels is, I feel, underselling what's on offer - just my opinion. If you're in Revelstoke, this is the place to stay. I'd go back tomorrow! Read less
