Always very happy to return for another week of skiing from this friendly and well managed hotel. Especially this time as I unexpectedly landed the honeymoon suite - to be recommended (probably more entertaining with company...)

The Coast hotel rooms in Revelstoke are very nice and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is excellent too. The bar is fun. The outdoor hot tub was great after skiing. Highly recommend. After I left they found an extra pillow in my room and emailed me to ask if I forgot it. Actually it was not mine, but I think it was excellent customer service… Read more

Everything about the hotel was excellent but there was a major flaw. There was no shuttle to and from town. To get there and back required paying about $30 for a taxi. The hotel didn't even have a small store to get a snack when you're done skiing. If you wanted to sample the restaurants in town, which are excellent, you're out $30 before you… Read more

The hotel didn't even have a small store to get a snack when you're done skiing. If you wanted to sample the restaurants in town, which are excellent, you're out $30 before you even sit down. Since the town is only a 10 min drive, I can't see why they offer no shuttle. Unfortunately, this would keep us from coming back. Read less

We stayed a few nights in Revelstoke on a ski trip. First of all, coming from the east on hwy 1 this place is extremely hard to find. No signs or lighting, or maybe they were buried in the deep snow. Rogers pass had been closed due to avalanches and downed power lines. The desk staff argued on the phone that the road was not closed or would be open later and would not change our reservation. We managed to get there late, but the hotel was full you'd think they could be somewhat flexible. The room was somewhat small and dark on the third floor. There was some sort of roof line that took up a lot of space in the room and because of the cramped space a couple of us hit our heads on the jutted out ceiling. The beds and temp controls were fine. The internet was exceptional but that seems to be because Revelstoke has fiber optic internet for the whole town. The hot tubs were extremely full of dudes after skiing and not very clean. Everything seemed over used and worn, maybe it was just a busy time. Breakfast is not included with a normal room price. We found the buffet to be quite expensive and so/so quality. The heli skiing company takes over many of the rooms and excludes people from the lobby in the evening. The on site bar felt like some sort of 1970s ski lodge, so that's fun. Overall, this was a comfortable place to stay but I think some of the five star reviews are people happy with their overall heli skiing experience. Oh, and people in Canada were quite happy and probably give it five stars because they're nice. Read less

This is a beautiful spot with an outdoor hot and lovely indoor sitting area with a fire place. Very close drive to the town. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the ski hill as well. Would definitely recommend.
