The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke

Revelstoke, Rural British Columbia

The hotel

It may have all the ‘mountain escape’ essentials, from a ski-in/ski-out location to cosy fires and wood and stone inspired décor, but The Sutton Place Hotel in Revelstoke Mountain Resort delivers a different take on ski holidays. Completely contemporary, this luxury condo hotel is a high-gloss twist on the traditional lodge, with a swanky outdoor pool and hot tub overlooking Monashee Mountains, a fitness centre, the Feather & Stone Day Spa, and four dining options. Rockford wok | bar | grill unites traditional tastes with wok-fired dishes; Mackenzie Common Tavern gives an authentic après-ski experience; and La Baguette brings you pastries and paninis, sandwiches and smoothies, and homemade gelato and groceries-to-go. But it’s Revelation Lodge that steals the show: welcoming you for breakfast up in the mountains, it’s perfect before slope-side sports — or riding the thrilling Pipe Mountain Coaster.

We got a big apartment with two bedrooms, a living room and a small kitchen. Of course we only needed one bedroom. Everything was well designed and working. The view to the mountains are great. There is one thing you need to be aware. On top of the provincial tax and GST there is also a "resort fee" which is 29 CAD per night! So the original price of 278 CAD ended up with 350 CAD. I might understand the resort fee during winter. Now in May it is not really fair. Read less

Stayed here on our odyssey from Calgary to Vancouver. The ski season had just finished and the lifts, staff and service were closed. Got a free upgrade here from a studio to an apartment so thanks to the Sutton Place. Room clean, serviceable and quiet. Got a free upgrade here from a studio to an apartment so thanks to the Sutton Place. Room clean, serviceable and quiet. Only gripe was an additional resort fee of $30 per day because we had booked through Expedia. We had in fact booked through Qantas, however the staff member said it did include some fees so it didn’t end feeling like an upgrade. We let it go however I encourage travellers to challenge this as it seems like a rort. Read less

The hotel is beautiful! Great location, at base of hill. We travelled with two 20 year olds. They loved the bars and pubs which were within minutes walking. The condo has everything that you need for cooking and spotless! theres two hot tubs and a pool in the same building. Great stay! Would definitely stay there again!

Loved our accommodation for the wedding weekend, lovely to have all the family together skiing and celebrating. The staff were lovely and very professional. Everything in the suite was perfect except the pillows could be al little softer!

We stayed for 1 night and went snowboarding for 2 days. We were able to check in at 8am which allowed us to get ready in the luxury of our own room. Steps away from the gondola. Free shuttle in to town made staying at the resort even better!! Fireplace, balcony and hot tub were all wonderful. Will definitely stay again.
