The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke

Revelstoke, Rural British Columbia

The hotel

It may have all the ‘mountain escape’ essentials, from a ski-in/ski-out location to cosy fires and wood and stone inspired décor, but The Sutton Place Hotel in Revelstoke Mountain Resort delivers a different take on ski holidays. Completely contemporary, this luxury condo hotel is a high-gloss twist on the traditional lodge, with a swanky outdoor pool and hot tub overlooking Monashee Mountains, a fitness centre, the Feather & Stone Day Spa, and four dining options. Rockford wok | bar | grill unites traditional tastes with wok-fired dishes; Mackenzie Common Tavern gives an authentic après-ski experience; and La Baguette brings you pastries and paninis, sandwiches and smoothies, and homemade gelato and groceries-to-go. But it’s Revelation Lodge that steals the show: welcoming you for breakfast up in the mountains, it’s perfect before slope-side sports — or riding the thrilling Pipe Mountain Coaster.

We arrived shoulder season so very quiet. I mean very. Lol. Not sure a resort fee of 29 a night should be charged now but the staff are great. The room was nice. The only restaurant was great for happy hour. We would stay again.

Lovely unit for our family of 5. I wish we had stayed longer. This is a great spot with so much to offer a young family. The 2 bedrooms were great. My kids enjoyed the pool. The cafe in the morning was awesome- I’m still thinking about those HUGE almond croissants. The cafe was super slow though.

Rowan and the staff were so helpful and efficient in dealing with me. Every email and phone call was responded to punctually and I never felt like it was an imposition for them to assist me. If the staff are that good I feel confident the actual hotel would be too! Read less

Travelling from Banff (fairmont) and jasper (fairmont) this hotel has blown my expectations out of the water. Only stopping here on the way to Whistler for the night but wish this was a longer stay. Much better than the Fairmont in banff and jasper.

We booked this as the first night on our honeymoon as our halfway point driving to Calgary. The hotel had a complimentary bottle of Champagne chilling in our room, and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Would love to come back and stay again for more than one evening.
