Updated, clean, has all your basic hotel amenities. Fridge, wifi, washer and dryer on site. Bed a bit soft but all in all, good. Outside plug ins, it was minus 40 outside. Restaurant was a bit cold, but then it was minus 40.

This is my second time in Smithers for work and my second time staying at this hotel. It’s been fantastic. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfy. I’ve never been to the restaurant attached so I can’t speak for it. But everything else is great

When the bedsheets were pulled back there was a large blood stain on the bed and the room was not clean. Read less

Older hotel that was taken over by Prestige a few years ago. A few updates/renos have been done. Don’t stay on the first floor or you’ll hear every move from the person above you. No free breakfast. Very pricey for the conditions of the hotel. Unfortunately it’s one of the better options in town.

I recycle everything and do not buy or use do use plastic disposable items at home. Room was clean, and in a hotel I prefer plastic wrapped plastic… Read more
I think you are doing renovations currently as there were no baseboards in the hallway? Dining was ok, great bar staff, but I had diarrhea all day I left?? I had the tuna tower the night before? I recycle everything and do not buy or use do use plastic disposable items at home. Room was clean, and in a hotel I prefer plastic wrapped plastic cups in my room, only because I have watched to many W5 shows where house keeping just washes them out and puts back for the next person. I did not see any clean glasses on the housekeeping carts or any empty dishwasher trays indicating there ever were any? Are they changed and put through the dish washer after each guest? Warm regards, Laurie Read less
