Spent one night here on our way back to Lower 48 from Alaska. Check-in smooth and fast by friendly Staff Member. Room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Several restaurants nearby. This stay exceeded our expectations.

We have just stayed at the prestige Hudson Bay for three nights. We really liked the small town of Smithers. Yes the hotel is a little way from the “Main Street”. However, as we had a car we didn’t find this an issue. We booked a king suite with Kitchenette and found that we had everything we needed in the kitchen for the few days we were there. The fridge is a little noisy and you can hear the plumbing for other rooms but I am a light sleeper and took ear plugs so this didn’t really bother me too much. The mountain view rooms are around the back of the hotel and much quieter as they are away from busy front road. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient and we also arranged a later check out. All in all we had a very nice few days stay. Read less

We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette, which was quite well fitted out for food preparation and cooking with a few minor "misses". While we had many dish wash cloths, we did not have tea towels to dry them. The food prep knives were quite dull as well. We purchased a knife sharpener and returned to the room and sharpened the knives, problem… Read more

While we had many dish wash cloths, we did not have tea towels to dry them. The food prep knives were quite dull as well. We purchased a knife sharpener and returned to the room and sharpened the knives, problem solved! We spoke to the maid service ladies (Krista and Jenn) a few moments later and advised our findings - we had tea towels within moments as well as a "thank you" gift from them for our input! Krista and Jenn were warm and caring when we first spoke of the issue, and immediate in their response to the very minor issues! I would recommend this place to anyone, anytime! Our experience was great! Read less

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The walls are thin but we have not had any noise complaints . I do agree with another person who posted the TV is large but does not have clear definition, would rather a smaller but clearer picture. We will continue to stay here on our trips through this… Read more

Stayed here for work and it was great. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. They let me store my bike in the room too I was advised to be careful of the walls (very reasonable). If I go to Smithers for works again I’ll be staying here :)
