We had an issue that we raised to Rebecca (the manager on duty) and she was incredible in her customer-satisfaction focus in resolving it. She really lives and breathes customer service. We were impressed. Thank you to Rebecca and her amazing staff. Everyone from the valet to the bellman to the manager. Highly recommended. Read less

Service, food and amenities are always great here. More people know about it now though, so upgrades are less available. Bar is great (wear a coat) and the restaurant is really good. Graham (in the concierge area) went way out of his way to find us a deck of cards. Thanks Graham!

We stayed here in a two bedroom suite with extended family and had three kids three and under. It was great! The room was clean and nicely decorated. The only improvement I would suggest would be to increase the heat on the outdoor pool. Great spot! Read less

Stayed over during the holidays. We liked that it was walking distance to the village. Room was clean with a queen and sofa bed - not too spacious. The bathroom was too ‘standard’ for the price you pay for the room. There is an Oliver and Bonacini restaurant onsite which makes it convenient if you didn’t want to go out to eat. The bathroom was too ‘standard’ for the price you pay for the room. There is an Oliver and Bonacini restaurant onsite which makes it convenient if you didn’t want to go out to eat. The outdoor pool and hot tub were great. Since it was the holidays with many families checked in, I had hoped there were more activities scheduled within the hotel. Or, ping pong tables/billiard tables could have been set up in the vacant area outside the conference rooms/ halls for people to enjoy anytime. Read less

It has an excellent location with shuttle bus taking only 5 minutes to get to the slopes. Rooms are adequate and, our final room, a suite, was very good - arising from serious problem with the first room. Having a suite insulates bedroom from a lot of noise in the corridor. Being family hotel, I was surprised they have no bathrobes in children’s sizes - essential for going to the pool. There are lots of in-hotel activities for children The star is Oliver and Bononcini’s s restaurant in which most of the food was superb with a capital “S”. A few cold parts of meal, eg. sausages and peameal at breakfast and an entire steak at night- they were either quickly remedied or, with the steak, I chose not to send back, to avoid disrupting the table. Frankly the restaurant is not big enough. Staff were mainly excellent - at both management and junior level. A very small number of glaring exceptions, that I find difficulty in understanding why they are still there. It’s worth going just for the short ribs or the even the modest turkey club. Tuna bowl and shrimp linguine are excellent. Their burger is amazing – but is served with tasteless fries that arrive frozen from a factory. Also, oddly, the chocolate cake is baked in the kitchen, then frozen. I had partly hot, partly near frozen chocolate cake one day. It’s an excellent cake, but one does not expect this. The ribs are smoked on the patio and are superb. The coffee they serve is apparently roasted for them – its very good, as is homemade strawberry jam. One big issue is lack of coffee shop - O&B are too busy to admit you for coffee so nothing available in lobby area. Most of staff were very good - from car valet to reception to duty manager. But they don’t seem to have enough staff to cope easily and provide prompt servicemen. One gets impression that although a Hyatt, they use many of the Blue Mountains Resort staff. Also the craziest and most infuriating point for me, as the father of 7 year old, was the swimming pool regime. They do have a modest outside pool, useable in the snow. But the indoor / outdoor pool, right next to other, but separated by a fence, is apparently owned by a separate company. We were assured by pool attendant at hotel that we could just charge to the room, but, after a tortuous journey involving lift to 3rd floor of hotel – walking the full length of hotel, then down fire escape for two floors, we arrived at the pool, to be told they could not charge to the room. 30 minutes later they relented, with hotel manager asking them to offer a commentary ticket, which the hotel would reimburse them for and charge us. I don’t expect this from a Westin. I feel sorry for the management of both hotel and pool as it happens very frequently Room cleaning personnel appear to be students / casual workers, which is fine. Not a very high standard of room cleaning though. It was not a major problem for us - it was skiing holiday primarily - and the one very serious incident was dealt with very quickly and professionally. I will definitely return with my family as the hotel and the resort are great fun. The hotel is not cheap and not currently running at a Westin standard. If you go, expect to have fun on the slopes and with the other attractions and enjoy some superb food, but don't expect more than 3 star standards at the actual hotel. Read less
