The views are breathtaking and you can't help but relax when surrounded by unspoiled nature. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, courteous and take the extra time to chat and make sure you're taken care of. The hiking trails lead to even more spectacular views of the surrounding lakes. The beach is pristine and the water crystal clear and refreshing. I highly recommend Hotel Sacacomie! Read less

If it wasn’t for the lake, this hotel wouldn’t have gotten a single « circle » in my rating. The lake, in and of itself, is beautiful but sadly, there is nothing good about this hotel. The hotel boasts four stars but the rooms don’t have air conditioning, no TV and no mini bar. The rooms are very hot in summer but they do give you a noisy fan if you ask nicely. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The rooms were not very clean. You could easily smell and feel the dust in the room (particularly if you have asthma) The 10 minute walk down on the narrow path from the hotel to the lake is beautiful but slippery and old. There are no umbrellas on the lake side, no food or drinks station. So despite the price of the room, don’t expect to find food by the lake (not even water). What’s more, the toilets by the lake side are dry toilets and veeeeery dirty. We had the buffet dinner and it was insanely expensive (almost 70 dollars per person before tax for very very very average food). The cheese station was filled with flies and they were exposed to air and insects. All in all, the experience is very disappointing. Read less

This hotel has a great location, in a forest, overlooking Lake Sacacomie. It's a tranquil place. We had a junior suite. Let's start with the bad: This place was built when global warming hadn't accelerated as it has, so the lack of air condition in summer is a problem, the ceiling fans don't cut it. They make much of the in-room jacuzzis in their advertising. Problem is, it's truly too small for a couple to enjoy it together. The bed, probably queen size, is simply too small for two adults of average height. This is all really puzzling, given the size of the room. There's no TV, not a problem for me, but others might be bothered. The good: The room is ginormous, so is the patio that goes with it. The views are breathtaking. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I asked for a fridge to be placed in the room, which happened, I was super grateful for that. The buffet has been replaced by food served at the buffet table by their own staff, due to COVID. Works just fine. Only issue, Quebec being Quebec, the menu description is French only. WiFi works ok, is complimentary. COVID special: The outdoor pools are currently closed, and the indoor pool is nothing to get excited about. Staff all worse masks and the infection control procedures seem well thought out. I wore a mask when picking up food, but I was the odd guy out. Most visitors were from Quebec, and things there are a bit more lax than where I reside, at least at the time of writing. The surrounding wineries we visited made a mess of infection control. Let the buyer beware. Read less

But the best activity by far is to spend time soaking in the several thermal tubs overlooking the lake. Superb saunas, cold plunge pool, and steam baths as well. We were tuckered out from skiing /skating/driving. No better way to de-stress than soak-steam-burn and plunge! You do not have to be a guest to use the spa facilities; although they charge an additional fee for the privilage. Read less

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this, We stayed in this hotel for a week for our Honeymoon and were were delighted we did. I have never experience anything like it. Our customer journey from start to finish was just amazing. Reception team very welcoming and loads of information about the area. Breakfast was very well managed I have to say with too much choice ( not that I am complaining ) Dinner service equally good with a different menu every night ( we were half board with dinner included ) the food in general was lovely and credit to your kitchen team. It was really warm for me anyway so we brought the hotel staff a few boxes of ice pops as a thank you. The private beach was amazing with loads of activities to do, we went up in the plane and the driver was great. Now..... the Geo Spa was such an experience, we have never experienced anything like this, the setting alone is something out of a fairy-tale. We cannot thank this hotel for such an amazing start to our married life and holds a special place with us, We are hoping to come back in the winter months as I believe its a completely different place and the pictures look exciting. Thank you and hope to see you again Read less
