The good: the spa was fabulous. Sitting outside in the snow in the hot tubs looking out over the frozen lake was amazing. Massage was good and reasonable price for 60 minutes. The snow tubing was great and also complimentary. The best fun we had was with Bert on the snowmobile tour. It was amazing, we had a really good time and saw some great scenery. Well worth the money for 3 hours. The bad: the room is a bit dated. It advertises a fire in the room, however ours was cable tied shut and couldn’t be used. The bed was a bit lumpy and there was no fridge in the room. No tv either but that was fine. The restaurant can be hit and miss. The service is quite slow and the food - some was brilliant (bacon / sprout appetiser, duck main or slow filet of beef) and some was awful (I had a fettuccine with seafood which was not good). I would rate the food and accommodation 3. There’s also no literature anywhere we could find about the room, facilities, etc, that would have been useful. The shop was pretty rubbish, lots of souvenirs but no snacks or drinks, you need to remember to take your own. Read less

We stayed there for a small business meeting and we were very impressed by the reception and attention we received. The hotel is a very impressive log cabin design in the middle of a quiet breathtaking scenery by Lac Sacacomie. It was early January, so I assume a little bit more quite than the peak periods however, we were treated like royalty by all the personnel. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place. My room was basic and I had a nice view of the lake. There were 3 double beds in my room and everything is rustic wood. Very nice but maybe a little outdated. But then again, we didn’t go there to stay I our room! Read less

I had a fairly low expectation after reading mixed reviews. The staff were wonderful. We had a late check in due to issues with previous guests but the manager treated us to drinks in the bar. The view is spectacular. The activities great, food delicious and the spa is perfect! Go and enjoy x
