This was Lovely relaxing break. The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful area. The food is lovely and the service was top notch. No complaints at all. I would love to have stayed longer! Hopefully I will return soon.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Sacacomie. Great location, lovely staff and a wide range of activities to suit all needs. The Hotel was very clean but shabby and outdated in some areas. It could do with some updating in some areas without losing its character.

Dreadful mechanical noise near room 21 avoid at all costs which meant no sleep on the first night. Changed rooms but no apology. Very scenic part of the world especially in the fall but bear hunt overpriced and somewhat contrived.

Stayed at the hotel Sacacomie for one night/ 2 days September 12-13 2019. To clarify some of the reviews from others, yes you are typically staying in a huge lodge, which is awesome by the way. It's rustic, and woodsy, and literally a gigantic cabin in the woods. So, that being said, if you are finicky and looking for 3 diamond accommodation, you will be disappointed and you should stick to a high a end resort in Fidji. While its true that rooms are a bit dated (prob back to late 90's early 00's, I must say that they are exceptionally well kept, clean, comfortable and cozy. There is no tv, which is a good thing nowadays because we are all too often glued to our iphones or ipads or wtv other form of media. You folks looked into staying at sacacomie for a nature getaway right?? So get out of your room, get off your social media, and go exploring in the hundreds of acres of lush forest that surrounds this beautiful place! Quit complaining that there is no tv in the room!! If you that much of an addict, the hotel does offer a tv/movie room for you. Now, back to the rooms; hotel provides a keurig machine and kcups for you, there are plenty of towels, extra bedding for cooler nights, a ceiling fan for warmer nights and for those who complained about the heat, open the patio doors for a change. There is a mosquito screen to keep the bugs out. You are in the mountains, it very rarely stays too hot to sleep at night without a/c people!! No refrigerator true, but you are allowed to bring coolers to the rooms and there are ice machines pretty much everywhere! Ok, so the only negative point I would have to say about the accommodations would be the beds... Not as comfy as I would have expected, but not so big of deal.. Moving forward. I opted for the half pension, so 4 course dinner and breakfast buffet included. The dinner was ok... Not horrible, not great. Service at the bar and restaurant was ok, could improve on this note*. The wine selection is good, with local and international selections, but a bit pricey.. The breakfast buffet was better than some all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean! Lots of variety here!! Good job!! This hotel offers lots of activities. The outdoor spa is very nice and clean and well kept. My boyfriend and I had the spa all to ourselves!! That was amazing! The hotel provides you with towels, robe, water bottles and locked lockers if you wish to place your valuables (which can come in handy if you have already checked out. You can use the installations and enjoy the surroundings until 4pm). The outdoor amenities are very well kept. The equipment is practically brand new, and there is enough for everyone! From canoes to snow shoes, seriously everything is almost new. The side by sides are new, the snowmobiles are new... Very nice. The lake is amazing. Clear water, visibility goes at least a few meters down!! There is a huge deck, and to make getting in and out of the water easier, there is a lowering deck for the kayaks and canoes and other non-motorized watercraft. Around the lake, there is a great beach with tons of lounge chairs, and a bit further down there is a little secret hidden beach which offers great view of the hotel. The hiking trails are worth the walk, they offer stunning views and they too are well maintained and trails easily identifiable. In sum, this is a hidden jem of a place. The staff is courteous and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone (unless you do not enjoy being in nature or unable to appreciate the beauty that is found in the simplest of things!). As for me, I truly unwinded, relaxed and enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sacacomie and will for sure return. Thank you! Read less

The hotel seems an 80’s accommodation for both the service and the building. Bedrooms are very small with very little light because there is just small window. There are no fridge nor air conditioning in the room. The restaurant is terrible: you have always to wait to sit even half an hour (and reservation is required!). Food is average. The spa… Read more

There are no fridge nor air conditioning in the room. The restaurant is terrible: you have always to wait to sit even half an hour (and reservation is required!). Food is average. The spa is nothing special. The only good thing is the location because it’s on the top of a lake with a very beautiful view. But considering that we spent approx. CAD 1.150 for 2 nights (beverages included), I strongly recommend to avoid this place Read less
