Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

Toronto, Canada

The hotel

With an emphasis on luxury, the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto occupies a prime spot in Yorkville – well-known for being Toronto’s swankiest shopping district. This is five star luxury – with a quirky twist. Fusing modernity and retro, its sleek glazed exterior and chic spa and gym contrast with its 70s-esque blond and caramel woods; and with the tan and green leather banquettes of Café Boulud, where you can enjoy refined French-inspired bistro dishes. If you fancy simpler fare, Chef Boulud also designed the menu of d|bar, which captures the cool of its Yorkville setting, as seen through its six metre high windows or from the summer terrace. The view also steals the show through the floor-to-ceiling windows of your guestroom and through the window-wall lining the relaxation pool and whirlpool zone.

The entire team at the hotel could not have done any more to make our stay better or more memorable. They went out of their way to be helpful, everyone was incredibly friendly, and they just couldn't have done any more. The room was fantastic, and all those little touches from the chamber maid team just made it that little more special, the concierge team just sorted anything you needed, and the front of house team were absolutely excellent. Throw in the amazing spa and you have a great combination! Read less

The rooms are large and spacious. They also balance perfectly being modern yet comfortable. Bathrooms are particularly great (two sinks, big tub, etc.). Our room was also wonderfully quiet, we could not hear any neighbors, and the bed was a dream of perfect comfort. Room service was consistently stellar. The only disappointment was food at brunch. Prices were better than similar hotels in the US. Read less

We stayed at few nights over Easter weekend in 2019. This property is modern, luxurious, beautifully maintained and delivers high quality service. We had a very pleasant stay. The property sits in the heart of Yorkville neighborhood, walking distance from high end retail and museums, although a little far from CBD and all the new and cool restaurants. It has an exclusive and seclusive feel given it is well tucked in the neighborhood. The hotel is relatively new. So the common areas and rooms are very modern, well maintained, and luxurious. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully designed in modern and luxurious hues and generously filled with thoughtful amenities and Le Labo bath products. The restaurant Cafe Boulud was good! Food and service was pretty good with bustling environment. Staffs were great and very helpful! We had a great experience... the property lived up to being the flagship property at the hotel chain's home city. Read less

Stayed on a weekend for a girls weekend and we loved it! We booked 2 rooms and the team was able to get us an early check in for 1 room which helped a lot! I communicated with the hotel via the FS App prior to arriving and during my stay and they were very responsive. We went to the spa on day of arrival for 8 girls to have a treatment, Gabriella at the spa was very patient and also attentive to our needs. The spa at this hotel is huge and screams luxury! All of us had a great time with our treatments and spa experience. I also liked that they had a spacious lounge and that there was a separate waiting room area for those with appointments soon. The rooms were nice and had a bluetooth speaker and ipad in the room. The bath amenities were Le Labo and as with everything scented, it is based on personal preferences. It was not my favorite however. D Bar was really really busy on a Saturday night, we waited for 10 minutes to get in. Once we did, the bar was 3 rows deep and decided to leave. We did not dine at the hotel as we dined at the many restaursnts around Yorkville instead. I also like that this hotel is close to the newly opened Eataly! Read less
