For my friends from out of town, it was very easy to get to from Union Station (no need to step outside, just use the PATH). The service at the hotel was top notch! Everyone we interacted with provided such good customer service. They truly made our stay special. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was well done as well. There was a variety of hot and cold options. The beverage options were great too! I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Read less

I took my son to Toronto to attend a Maple Leafs game. I wanted to be close to the Scotiabank arena, so I decided to stay at Le Germain Hotel in Maple Leaf Square. Besides the amazing convenience of being walking distance from everything, this hotel was immaculate. The service was outstanding and friendly. Everyone was so accommodating and made you feel so special. We arrived later at night, around 8:30/9pm and when I gave them my name, they said we were waiting for you, how was your trip here? It was so pleasant. The valet took us to our room, and showed us everything, very helpful and asked if there was anything we needed to call him. The room had snacks upon arrival and I had told them previously that were were there for a Maple Leafs game and there was a cutting board type tray on the desk and it had the blue logo of the Maple Leafs, I thought it was imprinted on the board, however it was done with chalk. What a great, personal touch. The room was immaculate, modern, comfortable bedding. This is an upscale hotel, so the amenities were top notch. Robes, even earplugs were given. Continental breakfast was perfect. We ate at the sports bar downstairs, which was delicious and the service was excellent. The bar was very large, the main tv was tremendous. The convenience of this hotel is second to none. The Scotia Bank arena is across the way (I can't say street, because it was that close) The hockey hall of fame was a very short walk, as well as the CN Tower, aquarium and Rogers Centre. You can walk inside to everything, so if it is cold, no worries. If you go to Toronto stay here, you won't be disappointed. Read less

Contemporary and comfortable fitout, extremely clean, excellent and very helpful staff, great attention to detail. We loved the little touches like chocolates each evening, yummy breakfast, good quality toiletries, lots of natural light and central location. We asked for a late checkout as catching a 1pm international flight and were very pleased when we were offered a complimentary 10pm checkout ! Strongly recommend this hotel. Read less

We had a large room on the 6 th floor, which was comfortable, with access to a fridge, iron, safe and a large walk in shower. Larger bath towwels and a soft bath robe would make a difference. Breakfast was continental. juices, cereals , yoghurt, fruit, cold meats and cheese, plenty of choice. Cooked breakfast is available at extra cost Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the two doormen. Would certainly stay here . Read less
