I paid for the hotel in full about 3 days prior to arrival. On arrival I was asked to pay a deposit in case I ordered room service - I told the reception I did not want to order any room service but they insisted that all guests have to pay this deposit which was £150 and that it would be returned to me within 24 hours after my stay. I did not receive this money back, I rang the hotel and they now said it would take up to 5 days to refund. After 5 days I contacted them again and they now said 7 days and would email me to confirm - they never emailed and never paid it back! Everytime I ring the hotel they keep saying it can take longer - 7 days, 10 days, 2 weeks, everyone keeps telling me different stories. Its been nearly a month now and I still have not had my deposit back!!! PLEASE DO NOT PAY THIS DEPOSIT ON ARRIVAL - I paid it on my debit card which they have taken the money for and never returned and now ignore my emails. I live in the UK and trusted that they would pay me back when I returned home! NOT OK!! i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AS THEY HAVE IGNORED MY EMAILS AND I BELIEVE THEY HAVE NO INTENTION ON PAYING THIS MONEY BACK. Read less

One of the most expensive hotels in a major city and unfortunately the hotel is just ordinary. Sure it’s a good location but the rooms are tired and don’t have what business travelers would expect. The breakfast buffet was of the standard of a 3 star hotel. Gym was good. I would not return to this one.

Location? Ya it’s in the heart of the Entertainment District no surprises here. The staff is efficient and friendly they get the concept of hospitality. The breakfast buffet is the usual fare but well maintained they warn you that it can get crowded near the end of service. The pool area is clean and good the exercise room, cramped as is the small business centre complete with a sign asking you to limit your time on one of two computers to 15 minutes; that’s a coffee break not a business session. The king bed was saggy in the middle, I don’t like sleeping at an angle with a resulting sore back so I did not sleep well especially since the toilet had a slow leak, the plumbing is noisy and the fire sensor has a flashing light on it that fires every 5 seconds circa 1978, which was probably the last time they washed the outside windows. Some of the floor carpets are nearly threadbare but not the ones they have placed down in the lobby foyer and secured with Duct Tape: Red Green would be impressed. The kitchen in our unit was sparsely supplied with its two pots to... cook in, sauté on stainless steel is not good. I believe the term residence should be taken with a grain of salt I can’t imagine a long term stay here. A family emergency required a two bedroom facility in this central location: we stayed here because we had to with few options available; I hope you have more and can take advantage of them. The gym was useful and the swimming pool area enough to satisfy all the guests using it. The business center allowed printing of boarding passes with no additional charge. All around a wonderful experience! Read less

Hotel is right around the corner from Aquarium and CN Tower, Rogers Centre, restaurants and local stores. We used the valet parking which was convenient in a way - it's $50/day to use it but we felt it was easier than trying to find a local parking lot in hopes we found one close by the hotel. Hotel itself was very nice, clean, rooms were spacious and staff was pleasant and very welcoming. Breakfast buffet in the morning and they added a tip in the elevator to arrive before 8:30 which seems to be the peak hour and they certainly were correct. We used the pool and hot tub which was very clean as well. Would come back to stay in the warmer months to be able to walk around more and explore what Toronto has to offer. Read less
