You will be passing quaint little towns along Lake Ontario, the historic city of Kingston and the Thousand Islands region. As of Brockville, you’ll be travelling north into the direction of the capital region. Upon arrival in Ottawa, the remainder of the day is free to explore the charms of Canada’s capital city. Take a stroll along the famous Rideau Canal (designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) or discover what the bustling Byward Market has to offer. Stay 2 nights in Ottawa.
Enjoy a hop-on/hop-off panoramic sightseeing tour of Ottawa today. This morning you will explore historic and modern Quebec City on a sightseeing tour. Upon reaching the bustling metropolis of Montreal, prepare for an afternoon of exploring the second largest French-speaking city after Paris. Walk down lively St. Catherine Street with its numerous shops and cafés. Stay 2 nights in Montreal.
Today you will be going on a 3-hour sightseeing tour of Montreal*. You will see numerous highlights, such as the Notre Dame Basilica, the financial and residential districts, historic Old Montreal, the charming Latin Quarter and much more. You will visit the Olympic Complex, travel through the campus of McGill University and savour the panoramic views from an observation point on top of Mont Royal.

Today is your departure from Montreal to Toronto on board VIA Rail’s The Corridor. Upon arrival at Toronto’s Union Station, your holiday has come to an end. Transfer independently to Toronto’s International Airport to check in for your onward flight.

Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA)
Visitors travelling to or transiting through Canada by air are now expected to get an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) to enter Canada. If you’re arriving into Canada by air from either the UK or another destination e.g. the USA, you’ll need an eTA. This costs CA$7 and lasts for 5 years or until your passport expires, whichever is first. If you’re travelling by land or sea, you won’t need an eTA when you enter Canada. However, you must travel with acceptable travel documents and identification, i.e. your passport.
