  • Vancouver
  • Haida Gwaii

Virgin Holidays' view

This is true seclusion — a floating lodge skimming the calm waters of Peel Inlet, only accessible by air, and backed by the forest-rich western shores of Haida Gwaii. With just 12 guestrooms, it has a real sense of remoteness and exclusivity, added to by the fabulous features they’ve squeezed into this water-topping hideaway. Somehow they’ve included a spa with massage therapy, a gym, a hot tub, a sauna, complimentary WiFi access, and a dining room with a drifting menu that captures the best of each season’s local ingredients — with complimentary wine to accompany it. But it’s when you step off Ocean Lodge that this 100% Haida-owned retreat really reveals its beauty — whether that’s as you enjoy its kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, take a rainforest trek or tour, or join its indigenous Haida guides for cultural excursions.

On Haida Gwaii’s extremely remote west coast in Peel Inlet. A return plane and helicopter transfer is included from Vancouver to Haida Gwaii.
