This resort is right at the water! The rooms were spacious with a wonderful oversized deck! The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room was a double queen. It had a mini fridge and sink. We could walk right outside to the beach from the resort, which was great. The water was actually warm, much to our surprise! We just wished they had chairs to sit on or benches. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We wished they had a bit more budget/family friendly restaurant. We found some local places to eat. Also, we had to run to the front desk each morning to get in-room coffee and creamer refills as they would forget. All in all we would definitely stay there again! Read less

The hotel has a small pool - ok for kids. There is a park nearby for children. This hotel is good for a weekend but, the town has limited appeal & we were ready to 'move on' after a couple of nights. We stayed in room #421 and it was very nice, it was clean and spacious had a terrific view of the ocean. It was like an apartment with 1 and 1/2 baths, fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher, we made a seafood dinner and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare the dinner. The fridge had an ice maker in the freezer which was super convenient!, large dining room table, living room with a relaxing fire place that we lit in the evening, to light it was as easy as turning the timer knob, which was convenient that we didn't have to remember to turn it off, two comfy chairs, coffee table and love seat looking out onto the beach, it would have been nice to order a movie and not just the local limited cable provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful on restaurant choices and activities. the dining room was lovely and service was good, we had an amazing perfectly rare prime rib dinner which was a nice change from all seafood we had eaten the days before. The bed was super comfortable and linens were crisp and clean with a lovely duvet cover. The bathroom was very large and had a soaker tub and beside it there is a stand up shower, towels were soft and fluffy and there were two robes that were very comfortable also. The curtains darkened the room for our sleep in's in the morning. We chose not to have the maid service for the stay and the hotel desk gave us two $10 coupons for the restaurant. Although it was clean there were a few missed spots - the pictures next to the dining table were splattered with stains, the dinning table was sticky and needed to be wiped down, there were a few cobwebs in the corner or the high ceiling in living room. The shower was weak (I missed my shower message by Waterpik) and at times barely any water came out, I think they should put in hand held shower nozzles, perhaps waterpik? and there was a distinct urine smell coming from around the toilet in the large bathroom, the 1/2 bath was very clean and didn't smell, the makeup mirror light didn't work and the glass was dirty. All in all this was a really great mini vacation for us and we would love to go back for our anniversary. Read less
