Everything about our stay was top notch. Extremely helpful, friendly and professional staff at the desk. Clean room, Furniture not banged up like we see in many "4 and 5-star' hotels. The carpet is clean, bathroom sharp, well lit and clean, Keurig coffee, Easy to use TV. Did I say EASY TO USE TV? even if we only watched it for an hour or so… Read more

Location 1 long block from the empress and waterfront. We walked to Chinatown and government street, and the water taxis. Read less

Two televisions, a wet bar, mini fridge, microwave and an area with a couch to relax on. Only wish the bathtub was a little cleaner since I like to take baths especially on vacation after a good hike. Our room didn't come with breakfast, but that was ok since we found excellant spots such as Johns Place or Bluefox Cafe. The staff here is outstanding. They assisted showing us a map of the island and pointed out some spots to go. (thanks kindly for that) They have valet service for $20.00 daily since there is no parking on the premise. They are quick to retrieve your car and always happy to oblige. (and of course you gotta love the cookies they give you at check-in) Mmmmmm... Read less

When I booked this room I had NO idea that their rooms were so TINY! I have stayed in numerous Hilton properties all over the WORLD and never have I seen a room this small. It was wall to wall king size bed with about 8 inches around the bed. Two people could not both be up in this room at the same time. I had to PAY for an upgraded room to get… Read more

It was wall to wall king size bed with about 8 inches around the bed. Two people could not both be up in this room at the same time. I had to PAY for an upgraded room to get one that was large enough for 2 people. Be very wary of the size of their rooms. We also had to pay $21 per day plus taxes to park our car. There was no public parking close by, so we were forced to use their valet parking. I would NEVER stay at this property again. Read less

The location is perfect for walking around the city, it is 1/2 block from the harbour and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shopping. Our room overlooked the Legislature building (beautiful at night, the Royal BC Museum, and the water/mountains towards Beacon Hill Park). Table 21 serves a great breakfast, staff are polite and friendly, and the warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in are TASTY! Love this hotel! Read less
