This place was a very convenient location. Walking distance from a lot of things including the Clipper. It’s also close to the Royal BC Museum, lots of food options, and right on the water. The attached photo is from inside hotel. Our room wasn’t a fancy one but it made up for it with the balcony and peaceful view. The main reason for my trip was… Read more

The attached photo is from inside hotel. Our room wasn’t a fancy one but it made up for it with the balcony and peaceful view. The main reason for my trip was a meeting with my Nation which was held in a meeting room at same hotel. The meeting space was great too. The hotel staff was excellent. They held our bags on day of arrival and departure. They also called me early to tell me the room was available early for check-in. Read less

Breakfast at the AURA restaurant exceeded expectations, it was all excellent but the Seafood Benny really blew us away! Such creative and delicious fusions. Hope to stay again! Read less

Although the hotel is under some renovation , most affects the outside walkway area. The hotel warned of this inconvenience and they proceeded to make my stay one of the best ever! Such… Read more

The first night we had no light in the hallway, the toilet ran consistently, the toilet seat needed tightened as it was moving. The bathroom door was filthy and obviously had not been cleaned for a long time. The counters in the bathroom and hallway were heavily stained. We have stayed there numerous times over 20 years and never had a complaint. They are renovating the lobby but not spending money on old rooms badly in need of upgrades. Read less

Despite the hotel undergoing renovations, check-in was very easy. All of the staff at hotel were very professional and very patient with answering all questions concerning the stay. We had to leave the car in the gated parkade for the duration of the day while attending the conference and the staff at the front desk made a key for access to the parkade even though we checked out earlier in the day. We were given a room with a view of the harbour. The bed was very comfortable. Given the price, would highly recommend this hotel. Read less
