Excellent parking facility just down the street 150ft away. Nice ! The area around the hotel was a big construction site with well organized paths to walk by the water. So no problems in that. The hotel is sitting on an excellent spot overlooking the inner harbor with great view over the harbor airport and part of downtown. Even though seaplanes are passing close by you can’t hear them. Great entertainment if you are new to seaplanes. All in all a very good and recommendable hotel with nice and friendly staff affordable prices on top. 👍 A short walk from restaurant area downtown. Quite a nice walk too. Read less

A short walk along the harbour front to downtown Victoria, we found friendly staff, stunningly good breakfasts with a harbour view, a room with a west facing water view, and comfortable accommodation. Our room was situated above a large area used for conferences and rather noisy parties. Also, bathroom ventilation could have been improved. Read less

I always make sure theres a gym when I stay at a hotel. Doesn't need to be huge or awesome. Well this gym had ONE treadmill and ONE bike for cardio. There was an old OUT OF ORDER sign on the treadmill and broken keys on the bike. There were also hand weights and a big weight machine. There was an old OUT OF ORDER sign on the treadmill and broken keys on the bike. There were also hand weights and a big weight machine. I asked them if they could fix the treadmill, which I got the old line; we r waiting for parts. I asked if there was another gym within walking distance, and they were all far away except The Grand Hotel. Should have just stayed there. This hotel has parties for groups of ppl and rent out their big rooms. They care WAY more about these ppl! Sunday morning we wanted breakfast at the restaurant and they said they were all booked up for a special breakfast. The public who knew about it booked it up. Their guests can go hungry. Hated it. Also the maid banged around loudly early in the morning around our room. I always look for the gym pics. Well I added a few here. Read less

My complaints seem to be on par with everyone else's; the loud toilets and construction. For some reason the curtains would not meet properly in the middle leaving a 4 inch gap and letting a fair bit of light in in the morning. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the room was clean and inviting. I'm not sure if the coffee cream had gone bad… Read more

The rooms are amazing and very clean...kudos to the cleaning staff as well. I recommend the Erickson wing as the rooms have a beautiful view and are quite spacious. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel were wonderful. The only thing i had an issue with was the price of meals in the restaurant...a bit pricey we felt for the quality and $9 for a glass of orange juice was a bit over the top. I'll still give a 5 star though as the property is great and within walking distance to pretty much everything. We will definitely stay again. Read less
