Was a good choice. There currently is construction in the area however noise is monitored and doesn’t start early morning, and overall it was not overly disruptive. Will affect a few hotels in the area.

I stayed in a king guest room. My corner room (number 306) was huge with a sitting area (including a chair and a pull-out couch), a large balcony, a full-sized dresser, and an excellent view of the bay and Fisherman's Wharf. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It's a short 5-8 minute walk to the inner harbour and Parliament building, which minimizes traffic noise. I stayed during a construction project so the main lobby, dining, grounds and harbour path were unavailable - but I have walked the path past the hotel on previous trips, and the grounds and views were amazing. There are nearby public transit stops, and the front desk has maps of downtown available. The housekeeping staff were very friendly, and my room was perfectly made up each day. Read less

We stayed one night at the Inn at Laurel Point over the weekend. Booked very short notice (5pm same day), they were able to accommodate us quickly. This is our 5th or 6th visit to the Inn. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, as usual. Valet/porters handle the bags and go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. Upon checking out, we had to wait for marathon runners to clear out before we could leave the hotel driveway. The valet jogged out bottled water to us while we waited. Small, personal touches like that make this place shine! *The lobby renovations, paired with government remediation work going on at the back of the property, have temporarily replaced the normally tranquil atmosphere with some minor chaos. But the Erickson wing rooms and staff are are as wonderful as ever. Looking forward to returning when the renovations are complete! Read less

We stayed during a construction project. It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed. That said - breakfast, coffee, and snacks were available throughout the day for guests. The room was clean and quiet. The employees were very helpful. We even made a seagull friend!
