The hotel

A sophisticated space, The Oswego Hotel is an upmarket urban escape just a stroll from Victoria’s Inner Harbour and downtown delights. Oozing style through every inch, you can laze in the lounge with its comfy sofas and grey stone walls, unwind on the patio, or head into O Café and Bistro to drink and dine. By morning the bistro brings you breakfasts of Bond Bonds Bakery pastries, with your caffeine-fix courtesy of Bows & Arrows Coffee Roasters. Then, come evening, it dishes up sharing plates of local and foraged food, sometimes served up with live piano or jazz. Of course, you could simply retreat to your room, with its gourmet kitchen dressed in stainless steel, slate, and granite — and there’s always in-room dining if you’re no Nigella.

Truly a first class boutique hotel with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The bistro menu featured well chosen selections and the nightly features were a delight. Truly a first class boutique hotel with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The bistro menu featured well chosen selections and the nightly features were a delight. We had to be in Victoria for a medical appointment and it coincided with a significant snowfall. If we had to stay anywhere, the Oswego was the best choice to feel taken care of. We especially appreciated the large bathroom with separate shower and the very cosy robes. It was our first visit, but won’t be our last. Read less

We are happy to stay at the hotel! Restaurant is located right by front desk, I think that is great! Food is good! We love our room, well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is big, and we especially love the complimentary bathrobe, very warm and comfortable! The bed room is good size, but we feel it needed extra blinds, it feels bright to fell asleep.… Read more

From booking (They emailed ahead of visit to check everything was still okay) to check-out, The Oswego was just great. All the staff I met with were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and the location is good.

We would strongly recommend the Oswego hotel in Victoria as your hotel of choice. Especially if you have a big family like ours. We would strongly recommend the Oswego hotel in Victoria as your hotel of choice. Especially if you have a big family like ours. Their suite had two separate rooms (one with a full bath) and a large modern common area that had a fold out coach. We gave the rooms to our three kids and my wife and I took the common Area so we could have some tasty complimentary morning coffee presses and could enjoy solitude while the teenagers slept. The kitchen had a full range stove and a full size refridgerator , granite counter tops, and modern furniture. We actually hosted 13 family members for roasted turkey and a Christmas dinner with all the fixings. We loved the complimentary underground parking As well as being only a 5 minute walk to the waterfront and 10 minutes to the downtown area. The hotel has a cafe on the main floor that serves amazing speciality coffees and tasty food which was convenient. The rooms were cleaned well and the front dear people were so helpful and friendly . They provided us with everything we needed and were always prompt. They even loaned us a scale from their weight room so we could weigh our suitcases. LaStly I really liked that the shower was a large walk in type and that we never ran out of hot water . Wow and a great view from the balcony too! The price for the suit was very reasonable and we feel we received great value. 10/10!! We will definitely stay at Oswego hotel when we return to visit our family again in Victoria. We done Oswego!! We checked out the bistro for a couple of beer, not sure what to order but the server was very knowledgeable & helped us pick a couple of great ones. We are now booked to go again for 10 days in April of this year.. can't wait to stay there again. Read less
