This hotel is well located and the restaurant/bar is very good. However the rooms whilst large and contain in most cases a kitchenette area are in need of some TLC/modernization. The wardrobe space is ridiculous with a very small area and only 3 hangers! The air conditioning is not great a sits either freezing (when its on) or very hot (when its off). The hotel also appears to be having recurring issues with their lifts -when we were there two out of four were out of operation - this is a problem when you are in a group with lots of cases to transfer. On the plus side the staff are very friendly and the restaurant serves great food ( best lobster bisque I have ever experienced) and in my view is reasonably priced. Some of the portions are large when compared to UK equivalent dishes, but this of course is not unusual in the US. Would I stay here again? possibly but only once the TLC works have been undertaken. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Hotel was a bit outdated and didn't provide value for money

I stayed in Century Plaza Hotel & Spa and thought it was very expensive compared to what we got for our money. The hotel is quite outdated and although we had a nice big room - it really needs an uplift and some better air-condition as it was very hot particular at night. Was also disappointed that despite writing to the the hotel twice before we arrived to make them aware that we were celebrating my friend's 60th birthday they barely recognised this - whereas other hotels in Canada came with a small bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates - so quite disappointed by that. Stay there for the location and if you are not too fussed about the money you pay for this - but otherwise i would look for something more attractive next time I am in the area. Read less

Excellent location for those trying to stay close to family while they are in hospital. Lovely room to stretch out and relax in. There is literally a lobby exit that takes you right to a door of St. Pauls. Amazing wifi. Not cheap but nothing in this part of town is.

If you have medical appointments at the St. Pauls hospital this is an excellent place to stay as it is just across the street from the hospital, parking is available, not need to take a taxi etc. and they give a discount for hospital appointments
