Due to contractual issues with the leaseholders, unfortunately Four Seasons Vancouver will be closing their doors next year. Despite this, the superb staff did not let their standards slip. On the evidence of my 7-night stay, the hard-working team at FS Van maintained the impeccable standards of hospitality and service befitting of the Four Seasons brand. Others have complained about the standard of the rooms. Whilst some areas in my Premier Room were a bit worn and tired, I feel that some people's criticism to be unfairly harsh and at times over zealous. Under normal circumstances, an establishment such as this would have renovated the rooms and modernized some of the public areas too. However this is a massive and costly undertaking. It is certainly not feasible to do when you know that the lease if the property will not be renewed. With this knowledge, I overlooked the dated feel of the hotel in general and judged my stay solely on the condition of my room and the leves of service provided. The condition of my room was spotless. The housekeeping team did a great job of maintaining this look throughout my stay. My only gripe, the outside windows were in need of a good clean. However, this did not ruin my stay, neither did it detract the magnificent views from the 25th floor! My room (#2508), was spacious, spotless, and the views - splendiferous. I must also mention the usefulness of the Four Seasons app. I highly recommend using it. It made my stay so easy, and making requests - seamless. I used the app to schedule my housekeeping on specific days and times. Consequently, I was never bothered by a knock on the door at 8am asking if I required housekeeping for the day. Confirmation of the housekeeping time came pretty much instantaneously. I found the staff to be highly responsive when using the app. I have no doubt that Four Seasons Vancouver will return someday, albeit in a different location. This is a bit of a shame, as the current location is so convenient and well-placed. Vancouver City Skytrain station is opposite, and is even connected to the mall via a concourse. If you have a chance to stay at the Four Seasons Vancouver before it closes - ignore the obtuse criticisms and stay here with confidence. Four Seasons Vancouver, thank you for a memorable stay, you will be sorely missed. Read less

Great hotel - my second stay and a real shame this on in Vancouver is closing down (I believe). I've stayed at a few hotels in Vancouver and this is my favourite. Excellent staff, breakfast and a nice bar area

Staff was amazing and very friendly! Wish I could come back again before the January closure! So sad to see a great hotel with passionate staff close! Hopefully Four Seasons opens a new location in Vancouver!

It is closing in 2020, and it should. Staff is trying but disengaged, Hope is tired and dull, without energy or proper amenities for the price still being charged. There is little to say - the rooms were clean. Everything else was substandard and the staff presence is non existent.

When we come to Vancouver we always try to stay here because the experience is consistently high quality and stress free. Our kids are treated so well, with moose stuffies and robes their size.. it makes for a relaxing weekend.
