Courteous staff, lovely spacious room, pretty views in the Parq. We enjoyed the Honey Salt restaurant, particularly breakfast and the decor. However, our trip was filled with small inconveniences that added up to being a bit bothersome. Every day our free internet as members was charged to our room and had to be removed. We also experienced erroneous mini bar charges, and then had to "prove" we hadn't used the products by having staff come into our room late at night to check. The hotel was conveniently located for us, but too many little hassles for the price point. Read less

Bed rooms is super clean and very nice view of the Roger Arena from my room. The Conference rooms are very nice with clean lines. I love the use of glassware for service pieces. 5 days dealing with banquet staff would usually take its toll, but not so at this hotel. I love everyone they have working our event, from the manager, to cleaners, to servers - absolute pride in their job with excellent customer service. My banquet heroes are George, Radu, Perry, Hoon, AnJesh, Lin, VY. Their support was invaluable and they made me feel like family. Thank you guys so much!! Management, you have the very best team. Having stayed in many properties in BC wanted to try the Parq as it’s newer and have had great experiences at other JW properties. We booked the JW because of the location. Our primary reason to visit Vancouver was to see a hockey game, Vegas vs Vancouver at Rogers Arena. Go Knights! It’s only a 10 min walk, maybe less. The subway stop is also very close 10-15 min walk. We took the Canada Line from YVR, approximately $8, and exited the Yaletown Roundhouse stop. Cheaper than… Read more

The subway stop is also very close 10-15 min walk. We took the Canada Line from YVR, approximately $8, and exited the Yaletown Roundhouse stop. Cheaper than a taxi. Being platinum members, we were upgraded to a suite with a great water view. The executive lounge was very good, perhaps one of the better ones we have experienced. Snacks and drinks always available through the day. One thing we found odd compared to other lounges was paying for liquor 🤔. Never experienced that. Maybe a Marriott Canadian thing? We were able to walk to Gastown, Chinatown and along the seawall towards Granville. The ferry stop Plaza of Nations very close, less than 10 min walk. Overall, JW met and exceeded our expectations. We will return again. Read less

This hotel continues to impress. The lounge is a key a part of a stay here as the staff are amazingly helpful and the lounge food is first rate. A major restaurant area of Vancouver (Yaletown) is a short walk or cab ride away and two transit lines provide access to the central business area. A morning walk along the promenade along False Creek… Read more
