In her day she’d be a glam, but now she’s showing her age a little. She’s out shone by her beautiful sister Hotel Georgia next door. It’s a great location and I have no real complaints but she’s a little drab.

Just called this hotel to book a room. I asked if they allowed pets and was put on hold for 20 minutes while she was finding the answer. Yes. Then I asked if they have a pool. Again I was put on hold another 17 minutes while she looked for the answer. After a good time waiting on hold again, I finally hung up. I called back hoping for someone else as I did want to book a room. This time the person I spoke to was extremely rude. To the extent that I am writing this review. And again i was put on hold while the guy went to find an answer to my question. The staff has zero knowledge if they allow pets, if theres a pool, or even if theres a restaurant on site. And when asked to speak to a manager I was told to call back and press '0'. Upon doing so, a recording came on that voice mail is not activated. Thanks so much for wasting my time! I'll be booking elsewhere. Read less

Noticed our elite status and upgraded us to a lovely room. The hotel porters were also friendly and helpful, quick to flag down cabs and assist with luggage. The hotel is older with two slowish elevators, but in a great location, steps from Holt Renfrew, Nordstrom etc. 20-25 min walk to Gas Town and Stanley Park. There are more luxurious hotel options, this one was perfect for a short stay. Read less

This hotel is located in a perfect area for shopping or walking down to the waterfront. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom. Again, I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff - especially David (front door gentleman) who was funny and delightful.
