We stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel was first class, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities in the hotel were very good and most tourist sites are within walking distance, although the transport facilities are good. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good staff, nice rooms and an option to be in the tower with kitchens and living rooms. Back side can be a bit noisy if fire engines respond to an emergency but only briefly. Great downtown location with easy walk to lots of things.

This is an excellent hotel with very comfortable rooms and s good restaurant. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and close to Vancouver Island which is worth a visit. Sutton Place Hotel were very helpful in providing information on other places worth visiting. Also details on the Rocky Mountaineer train to Banff.

in a very good location, next to Robson street and opposite very good restaurants and bars. We had a lovely suite on the top floor...(with a pointless, tiny balcony). It was difficult to keep the AC on for any period of time, as it was so noisy. The concierge, housekeeping and general staff were amazing, although I have to say the front of house (I exclude Harshita from the following comments, as she was lovely and extremely helpful) are not that welcoming. When we arrived after 2 days of travelling to Vancouver, there was no greeting, no "good journey", no welcome, no "how are you" etc. Also I had reason to go the reception on 4 occasions during our 5 day stay and was served by 4 different people, all of whom were not in the slightest bit interested in: the fact our fridge was incredibly noisy, so I just asked them to turn it off...in extending our check out by half an hour and also when I asked about the internet I was just asked "room number" and when i gave it them..."it's free" that was it!. They all appeared fed up and as though they did not want to be there, which is such a shame and left a bad impression, of what is clearly a quality hotel. Read less

This hotel is beautiful, and the location is great. The furniture is traditional and the rooms don’t have any modern technology of other 4 and 5 star hotels in Vancouver, but the service is great and the bed was comfy.
