Being a frequent traveller staying at Marriott hotels, the Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver has to rank as one of the best ones my wife and I have stayed at. A friendly porter greeted us and took our bags from the taxi when we arrived and directed us in to the front desk. The front desk clerk was excellent. He gave us a high floor room at the corner so we would not be disturbed by the striking workers across the street. Once he found out my wife had food allergies he gave us a couple of breakfast passes for the main restaurant, since he was not sure the Concierge Lounge could accomodate her. We really appreciated this gesture. Our room was more than we expected. Great view with a panaramic ceiling to floor window. We ate dinner in the restaurant and our waitress and chef were very accomodating for my wife's food allergies. The chef even came out part way through our dinner to make sure everything was suitable, which it was. He also said they would inform the breakfast staff about her allergies. Great breakfast and excellent service by all the restaurant team. Check out was very easy and quick. We had a 10-15 minute walk from this hotel to the Canada Place cruise port. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Vancouver. Read less

We stayed here on Marriott points overnight, waiting for a cruise. Reception was great. We were given a suite, with a dining room and kitchen, which we didn't use. Unexpectedly, we got turn-down service and high-quality chocolates. The concierge was extremely helpful in choosing city tours. Everywhere we turned, we heard, "Thank you for your… Read more

Unexpectedly, we got turn-down service and high-quality chocolates. The concierge was extremely helpful in choosing city tours. Everywhere we turned, we heard, "Thank you for your loyalty." We didn't have dinner there, but breakfast in the concierge lounge was great, and lunch was good in the restaurant. We were only there for one night, but overall, it seemed like a much higher quality stay than we might have expected. Read less

We stayed one night at the Pinnacle before our Alaska cruise left from Vancouver. It is pretty much right across the street from Canada place and in a great location for shopping and restaurants. We got a lovely room overlooking the harbor. The service was friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable.
