The even had tools available and you could take your bikes into the hotel. The room presented well. While we were there it was hot (July 2019), but the air conditioning unit seemed to work well. There as no food on offer (no breakfast) and the staff directed us to make use of the many restaurants in the village which was pretty much across the road. I would definitely stay here again. While we don't have a dog, they did have rooms available for people who travel with their dogs. It would appear that they have rooms just for people travelling with dogs. Read less

We were late arriving due to a flight delay but reception were so kind and welcoming, they gave us a room upgrade and complimentary parking as it was a special occasion. The room was lovely and modern, with great views of the mountains. The bed was super comfy and with the black out curtains, we had the best nights sleep. The location was fantastic and we were a stones throw from the town of Whistler which was fantastic, it was the perfect base for exploring. Thanks again for a great stay! Read less

Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Clean. Close to the village. Great for mountain bikers, with lots of truck parking and bike wash and repair station out front. Would give it a 4 if they had valet parking. Nice pool and hot tub

We have him paperwork about our reservation and he would not look at it and pushed it back to us. Snooty remarks when asked about the height of the parkade. Let's just say it did not feel welcomed. But the other front desk agents were very welcomeing, there was a front desk agent with a beard. He was funny and talked to us more then the person who checked us in. The rooms are cleaned and they are a nice size. The walls are paper thin so you can hear people walking above you and flusing of the washroom in the middle of the night. We did speak with the manager about our check in experience but he kept saying that Colin was not that way and had not received any complaints in the past, seems as though he did not believe us. But he did say he will speak with him. Aava hotel is a mediocre. Read less
