Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre

Whistler, Canada

The hotel

A contemporary boutique hotel, the Pan Pacific offers luxurious all-suite accommodation with picture windows making the most of magnificent views. Centrally located, it is just a short stroll to the gondolas which provide easy access to over 8,000 acres of ski-able terrain including North America’s steepest vertical drop! Village amenities are also on your doorstep with a great selection of bars and restaurants to tempt you. Highly recommended is a trip to sister hotel, the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside’s Dubh Linn Gate Pub. Built in Ireland, it was transported over to Whistler, piece by piece to provide a cosy evening base with a genuine Celtic atmosphere — tuck into hearty Irish fare and marvel at the impressive list of imported beers — including Guinness of course! Accommodation is very spacious indeed with a fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and flat-screen TV. There’s a complimentary buffet breakfast to get your day off to a great start, an outdoor heated pool to splash about in and massage therapy for tired muscles. If you’re a golf enthusiast, you’re in luck, three championship courses within 2 miles provide a fun alternative to the slopes!

Great location - five minute walk to lift and hotel brings skis right there. Plus walk outside and be in the Village. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place earned it! Sister property has great Irish bar!

The management team should be very proud of the staff. Couldn’t fault any team member from check in, sorting out extra roll out beds for the 7 and 5 year old so we could use the lounge at night, baggage storage, and leaving. The staff make this hotel. Added to that is the location, the ski lockers, the endless breakfast, the hot chocolate and cookies in the afternoon, the heated pool, beautiful beds - it really is a perfect skiing hotel for a family (we were me, my husband, my parents and a 7 & 5 year old). Plenty of room in our two bed apartment and we were easily able to cook meals any evening we wanted to. Facilities are wonderful. This is our third visit as a family and we will be back!! Read less

We arrived on Monday to check in to a 2 bedroom apartment. We were given this shoebox next to reception with a view of the carpark. My teenage sons wouldn’t have fit in the lounge room and it was right next to breakfast room. Then when I complained I have had to pay an extra rate per night to move to a higher floor (at least it doesn’t look at the… Read more

My teenage sons wouldn’t have fit in the lounge room and it was right next to breakfast room. Then when I complained I have had to pay an extra rate per night to move to a higher floor (at least it doesn’t look at the carpark), though the living area size is the same. They cannot split the king sized bed which is annoying. So just a warning it is not value for money for a family - over priced and tiny. Also beware their crazy 30 days in advance refund policy . I told them 10 days in advance that we had to leave a day earlier but they won’t refund that nights charge. So all in all I feel like these guys are out to get away with what they can. I refer to these as Bandit Hotels !! The breakfast was fine but the accomodation in a 2 bedder very pokey for the $$$ money. Read less
