Cuisinart Golf Resort & Spa

Anguilla, Caribbean

The hotel

You may suffer from wanderlust, but even the most dedicated drifter would find it hard to leave Anguilla’s Cuisinart Golf Resort & Spa. All eyes would normally be focused on the beautiful Rendezvous Bay setting, but this hotel steals the limelight from those seductive sands with its glamorous white architecture, chic suites and villas (many with views of the bay, or equally dazzling gardens), and its uber-stylish pool, which is a serene contrast to its fabulously fun splash pad. Throw in water sports like glass-bottom kayaking and snorkelling, a restorative spa, and a Greg Norman-designed 18 hole golf course and you’ll be forgiven for forgetting your glorious bay location.

My wife & I stayed at Cuisinart Golf Resort & Spa, Anguilla, from December 15-19. We have been to many Caribbean Islands, but never Anguilla. We chose Cuisinart because of its location on the West end, the accommodations, the apparent elegance of the place and the commendations, from those who had been there before. Since this was our first trip to Anguilla we planned a short stay to try it out. We were not at all disappointed! The Junior Suite accommodations is beautiful, with a well stocked mini bar & is tastefully furnished giving it a bright, airy, tropical feel. The ocean view from our balcony was beautiful. The amenities such as the gym, and beach service is very good too. Elbert and Keewha made sure we had towels, cushion covers and cold bottled water at the beach. The staff is very attentive & helpful, with all your needs, including arranging for taxis, restaurant reservations, etc. Genella, at the concierge desk, did an outstanding job helping us with all these things. We used Reuben for our taxi service. He is a gentlemen, & always on time. We enjoyed our first night for dinner, at Mosaic, & each morning for breakfast. There was something for everyone, from cereal, fresh eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc. Claudia always made us feel welcomed. In many ways Cuisinart Golf Resort & Spa , Anguilla compares with the elegance of Sandy Lane in Barbados, and the laid back nature of Spice Island in Granada. We both are looking forward to returning in the future. Read less

Chef Juan is fabulous and he and his team went out of their way to make sure everything was great! We really appreciate the private dinners they did for us. The beach is gorgeous and large enough to walk, swim, whatever you like. The beach attendants took great care of us and the chairs were very comfy. We visited other beaches but This was the prettiest in our opinion! Our massages were amazing. We rode bicycles around the resort and used the gym. We will definitely return to Cuisinart! Thank you for making our vacation so special! We can’t wait to return! Read less

Loved the location on Rendezvous Bay, great beach for swimming and walking. Property was lovely and well maintained. We were in Bldg. 5 right on beach in center of property. Loved the room, very large with large closet and large bathroom. Breakfast was included and was in a lovely open space. The food was good- made to order omelets along with bacon, sausage, potatoes and assorted breads. Cereals, yogurts and limited fruit was also offered. The only complaint would be that it was exactly the same everyday. Would like to see more variety. Beach service was excellent, loved the coolers for water and ice that was replenished all day. Loved the afternoon sorbet and biscotti with different flavors every day. Good service at Beach bar and Kaz bar. Omari Banks singing thurs night at Kaz Bar was a treat. Also, concierge was very helpful with dinner recommendations and reservations. Read less

Service by all staff was excellent as usual and management is always present on the property to insure that ALL guests are having their expectations met. We love this Island, its people and especially the staff and management at Cuisinart , they really do want guests to be pleased and to return again and again like so many like us do.Beach is beautiful, water calm and warm and there is ample and comfortable chairs and shade. The food & beverage was also excellent , especially at on property "Tokyo Bay Rest." We very much hope to return again in the future and hope price increases will be moderate and not a double digit increase. Read less

Just got back from a week here. Had been here 15 years ago and property is nicer and better managed since rebuild after last hurricane. We’re familiar w almost all the other Anguilla resorts and this is the best place for the money. Good— -best beach in Anguilla, flat and walkable and calm water. Not as many restaurant options as North shore beaches, but water and sand much better. -very spacious rooms, great beds, showers, etc. super clean and fresh. -staff are very friendly. Front desk, cleaning, breakfast & beach folks -our rate had breakfast included, which helped mute costs —took a Japanese cooking class that was very nice. Areas to improve -breakfast was pretty good but could use more variety and staff need guidance on making eggs easy over (couldn’t get a runny yolk). But, will make you an omelet, or crape, and have menu options as well. Friendly service. -the room furniture and fixtures were extremely nice, but walk-in closet structure was obvious made by different craftsman then the rest of the room, and it was cheap wood and it looked like it was made in grammar school wood shop (room 1401). -this place is great in the day but is pretty quiet at night. They don’t seem to get their act together to market the restaurant properly here or at sister property. Overall this is a very nice property and if we return to Anguilla we’d definitely come here.
