We had a suite which was situated near the top of the hillside may be difficult for those not good on their feet but we (both pensioners) coped OK. The room was very good with a separate sitting room/ dining kitchen, although the kitchen is not really useable as there are no cooking utensils. WiFi and TV were very good which was useful as there is not a lot to do in the evenings at the hotel. The staff were very good especially in the restraunt, the food was OK, but nothing special. The bar is fairly small but we liked the intimate atmosphere where it was easy to meet other guests in the evenings, although when we were there it was very quiet after 9 pm. If you are into sailing this is the place to go, it is the only all inclusive resort that I have been to that actually wants you to sail when its windy !! The equipment available is in good condition and there are various sailing boats for you to have a go at with help if you need it from the sailing staff, special shout out for them all from me. The beach is kept very tidy and is safe for swimming but a trip to green island is well worth it for snorkling - but go earl as it can become very busy with cruise ship visitors in the afternoon. The location of the resort is a bit remote with not much to do unless you have transport or hire a taxi. The only negatives for this resort was the lack of things to do when the weather is bad - you really need to take something to entertain yourself. Would I go again - absolutely. Read less

The beach is beautiful, the one bedroom apt is so spacious and has lovely views. The food everyday was great. The service top notch. They knew us by name from day one and we made so lovely friends. Its about 30 mins from English Harbour and St Johns. If you are looking for a totally relaxing break this is the place and i have stayed many places. Thank you to the staff and we will be seeing you again very soon! M Morris Read less

We, 3 seniors, spent 10 days in a little bit of heaven. The staff was kind and friendly and the food generally top-notch. The biggest drawback were the steep hills. (They need a couple of golf carts and a dedicated staff to drive, perhaps during specified hours.) Also missing was an obvious/identified manager. It seemed everyone did the job! Lots of families with young children were enjoying the water sports (sailing, paddleboarding...) and the spacious 2 & 3 bedroom villas during a school break week. Read less

We came to Nonsuch for some rest relaxation and sailing. We were very happy with our stay. The water views from our huge one bedroom villa were excellent, and the spacious terrace with multiple seating areas was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed reading on the terrace in the lounge chair over looking the expansive bay and huge palm trees.Very luxurious. The food was good and the infinity pool by the dining room had incredible views over the bay. The snorkeling at Green island was a nice plus - not great coral, but loads of fish and beautiful water. As others have noted, the beach is only ok, but we knew that before hand. The sailing however was amazing. If you are an accomplished sailor they will let you take out the boats on your own after they observe you in a trial run with the pro. We really enjoyed cruising through the bay in the RS Elite keel boat. The winds were gusting over 20kt and it was a total thrill to sail fast in the huge bay. The Elite is a racing machine but is easy to sail. The jib is on a track so you don’t have to touch it when you tac. We also went on the hobie cat with the pro and he drove first and then I did. We were flying through the water and got her heeled way over while I was driving and he standing on the pontoon for ballast encouraging me “Ya mon, go mon, pull in the main! ride the waves!!” My partner, who is new to sailing, was thoroughly enjoying it too and laughing the whole time. I also took a lesson on the tiny centerboard boat, perfect for kids (but a bit awkward for tall guys like me). It was very windy our whole stay which I enjoyed but would make it hard for a newbie sailor to take a lesson. What’s wonderful is they will take you on a ride so you don’t have to be a sailor to enjoy the amenity. Improvements: if you want to windsurf you have to pay because it’s not part of the sailing program. I think they should have at least one free windsurfer. (I know it’s a dying sport). The pool in the dining room is covered by a screen to keep the wind at bay, The screen is old and should be replaced with an elegant solution. We didn’t even realize how nice that pool was until the last day because the screen blocks it, and blocks the view from the dining room. All in all we had a great time and felt it was also a great value compared to other all inclusives on the island. Read less
