Divi Village All Inclusive Villas

Aruba, Caribbean

The hotel

It takes something pretty special to make a beach hotel stand out from the Caribbean crowd – but Divi Village All Inclusive Villas does just that. It’s not just bagged a spot near Aruba’s famous Eagle Beach, sharing a nearby stretch of sand with its sister hotels; it’s also embraced by the lush fairways of The Links at Divi Aruba, a nine hole golf course accompanied by a luxury clubhouse with two stunning dining venues, a Pro Shop, and a golf school. It has all the classic Caribbean trimmings, like its four freshwater pools, sumptuous spa, water sports, and children’s club, but it also throws in extra flourishes just for fun — like a 30-foot high rock climbing tower that rises from the beach, complimentary travel to Alhambra Casino, and movie nights.

We chose Divi Village All Inclusive package through CheapCaribbean.com because it was the cheapest all-Inclusive option for the trip. I was so worried it wouldn’t be good but it was actually amazing and the best! Divi resort is in the low rise hotels area and has several sections: Dutch Village, Tamalijn and Village. We stayed at the Village which is about 7 minute walk from the beach. This walk was much needed to shake off the food overload from each meal. There are 3 buffets and many other restaurants, some need to be booked (2 days in advance) and some are first come - first serve. Divi Village has the best pool: it’s large with a water slide, has an infinity pool section, a swim up bar and a fast food cafe - all covered by the all-Inclusive. The beach is the best! Amazing white sand, no stones, water is peaceful and gorgeous with 3 shades of blue. Snorkeling gear and some other equipment available for free. Beach bar covered by all-Inclusive. I recommend renting a car for a day or two to explore the island and try some local food, aka iguana soup and goat stew. But you will want to return to Divi Village and never leave. The place is very safe. We left the kids by the sea and walked to the bar, always found them in the same spot when we got back. We left bags with wallets on the lounges and always found them there. Not crowded at all! Palapas are close to the sea but not too close. Some fun night entertainment at the Tamarijn and by the Red Parrot restaurant. Incredible after-dinner beach walks in the nice breathe. And the sunsets are magical! Read less

The Divi Village, Golf and Beach Resort is a beautiful resort with all the accommodations of home. The staff are friendly and accommodating to everyone. We even had a yellow belly great us every morning at the resort.

The Eagle room air quality was terrible, we were switched to the Birdie unit which was much better. The beach and the quality of food and drinks keeps us coming back here, although the staff could improve on details of cleanliness and maintenance of the villas and grounds.

I loved the views from our balcony - the golf course, the ocean and the wild life. Our apartment was beautiful, well appointed and very comfortable. 2 bathrooms make it easy for 2 women to get ready at the same time. The food at the restaurants is good and I love the shuttle service which is very convenient to get to the casino and shopping center. The smell was a little off putting but I think comes from leaving doors open and letting in the humidity. People tend to leave the slider open when they are on their balcony. We used a small mister with a little essential oil and that took care of it. Read less
