Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino

Aruba, Caribbean

The hotel

Set amidst breathtaking scenery, this luxurious beachfront hotel offers the ultimate in relaxation. Spanish-style architecture, lush gardens and cascading waterfalls are as delightful as the crystal clear seas it is set by and the accommodation is modern, airy and well equipped with all mod cons. For those who like to keep active, you’re in for a treat. There’s a three-level pool to splash about in, water sports galore down on the beach and an incredible programme of daily entertainment to take advantage of, including sunset sails, pool volleyball and shuffleboard contests. No worries if relaxation is more your style, grab a lounger and laze the day away or head to ZoiA Spa for some well-deserved pampering — we can recommend the White Lily After-Sun Wrap! When you’re feeling peckish, you’ve a choice of restaurants to choose from. Dine amongst floating swans at Ruinas del Mar, serving contemporary cuisine in a rustic recreation of seaside ruins or indulge in island-fresh dishes at Palms. For tequila and regional dishes, head to Mexicado or admire the best sunsets in town at Piet’s Pier Bar. For something a little more sophisticated, dig out your finest attire and head to the Hyatt Casino. After all, a little flirting with Lady Luck never goes amiss!

My husband and I returned to the Hyatt to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, as this is where we stayed on our honeymoon. The grounds were are as lush and beautiful as I remembered! Our room appeared to be recently redone, with ample space for the two of us. When we booked the trip, we let them know we were returning for an anniversary celebration. When we got to our room, there was a bottle of sparkling wine, macaroons and a beautiful note wishing us a Happy Anniversary :) The pool area was great- lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The bartenders at the swim up bar were great, making yummy drinks for our entire stay. Loved them passing out ice pops at the pool in the afternoons!! We booked the Pampered in Paradise, which was a sunset dinner for just us on the beach. It was such a wonderful night!! The scenery was breath taking and the food was amazing. Frances, our waiter was wonderful, making sure my requests due to a food allergy were met. I also indulged in a hot stone massage at the spa. It was hands down the best massage I ever had! Olga was very talented!!! They even accommodated us with a late check out, which allowed us to enjoy time at the pool and beach then shower before leaving. Thanks Erica!! 20 years later the Hyatt did not disappoint us!! We can't wait to come back- this time it will not take 20 years to do so!! Read less
