The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at this resort and can honestly say we had an amazing time. A special thanks to Akaylia who was just amazing throughout our stay. We were a group of 5 with one member being a teenager and spent most of our time either on the beach or by the pool in the adults only area. We celebrated a birthday during our week and the staff went above and beyond to ensure it was a memorable celebration.. balloons were placed in the room along with a fruit platter and a bottle of wine, bottles of champagne were brought to us throughout the day while we we’re chilling by the pool and in the evening a celebratory dessert was sent to us at the end of our meal! Rooms: We stayed in room 205 and 206 which both overlooked the adults only pool with some view of the beach. Both rooms were clean, tidy and spacious and were made up every day. The fridge was stocked daily with bottles of water and there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bathrooms were equipped with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Restaurants and bars: we could not fault the food, wide selection of food to suit everyone, buffet food was hot, and both Aqua Terra and Cerulean had a good selection to choose from on the menu’s. Cerulean was our favourite restaurant. All spirits were premium brands, cocktails were delicious and the pina colada’s went down a treat in the heat. Beach and pools: the beach was picturesque with plenty of sun loungers, we made use of the water sports which were included and managed to hire a jet ski at an additional cost, this was an amazing experience and I even managed to see some turtles whilst out on the jet ski. Pools clean and tidy with access to beach towels throughout the day. We will certainly be booking to return at some point. Read less

Amazing holiday!! What a great hotel, with excellent food and service. After reading some reviews on here we did hesitate but thankfully we didn't change our holiday. We have been as a family to many places across the world but this has been the best by far! The staff are excellent who go above and beyond to give you the best experience from start to finish, best service we have had! The location is fantastic, 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minute walk to oistins fish market (where a local wonderful man gave us a private feeding of the wild turtles), Deia beach is a great place for a little drink and bite to eat if you fancy venturing out and is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The view from our room was stunning, looking over the incredible sand and sea! Cerulean was 5* quality food! I couldn't recommend this place any more and will definitely be returning! Read less

So this is an average family hotel. I'll give my honest feedback as I found it. The rooms: were OK. Small but generally clean with housekeeping doing a decent job. The bathroom was tiny and definitely NOT white company products. We had a issue whereby our air conditioning lead continuously for 2 days and took 4 attempts at speaking to staff to finally get it fixed ..after a lot of our stuff was soaked. Food was OK. Good for kids but not high end. The restaurants however had enough choice and given then price was good. David was the best waiter by far ...most of thr other staff weren't overly friendly..especially at the flying fish bar. Front of House: the initial arrival was very underwhelming with no one there to greet us upon arrival and not a parcualarly welcoming attitude at reception. However Joel was helpful and Phalesta was great for correspondence prior to the trip. The beach is stunning... one of the best on thr island and great for kids..although there are waves (but my kids loved them. Sun loungers on the beach a broken and umbrellas would be useful. Kids pools were fine, small but generally clean. Loungers around the pool are quite squeezed together and despite signs saying no reserving of sunbeds... this still happens. Adults only section is much nicer and we'll kept. Breakfast buffet was fine..nothing spectacular but good overall. As a travel agent i get to travel all over the world. In my opinion thisnis a good 3 star family resort suited to families who don't want to venture out too much and are happy with standard AI options. Finally when we left our bags in the luggage room...somehow they were left under a leaking pipe amd all our hand bags were soaked through with very little though given about it..this seemed to be the general theme. I think service could be improved as well as the standard of the resort as a whole...it just needs some love and brightening up. I wouldn't stop at this hotel again and I would only recommend to those who had a smaller budget but wanted to experience Barbados as a family on a budget. Read less

Have just got back from Seabreeze and this is most certainly not a 4 star hotel. When we arrived our aircon was leaking, went to turn it off and there were no batteries in the remote, there was no hairdryer in the room and the room just looked very tired. There will be a letter that you are given on arrival stating that the toiletries are all The White Company and are replenished daily…I can most certainly tell you that the are not from The White Company. They quality of the towels are quite poor also for a 4 star hotel. One day we wasn’t even left any water in the room, plus on another occasion we came up to the room around 6pm for a shower after a day on the beach and was left a ‘IOU’ towels note written by housekeeping on a sanitary disposal bag and left in the bathroom, so I had to run around the hotel trying to get towels as we had a dinner reservation. We also came past multiple cockroaches around the resort as dirty cups and plates were often just left outside rooms for most of the day. Breakfast was ok, not enough options in my opinion as with lunch and dinner. Umbrellas are needed on the beach as many of the sunbeds are broken and don’t give enough shade. Especially when travelling with small children who may just want to dig in the sand, there is absolutely no way of shading them. Again, the quality of the beach towels are poor considering this is supposed to be a 4 star resort. Staff…there are many staff here that are friendly, helpfully, can’t do enough for you. BUT, there are just as many who are chippy, moody and won’t even give you a response when asking for something. I would like to give a special mention to Marcia (eggs at breakfast), Danielle who will give you the best tips on getting around Barbados and where to go, Chesterfield who makes the best cocktails and Damien who was just always happy and interactive with everyone! The island of Barbados is great though, but try and find elsewhere to stay when spending this sort of money!! Read less
