Clean, with good aircon also a good quality matress- hense very good sleep. Sea is only few steps across the road where you can see turtles, fish just by walking in with snorkel and a mask. Food at the apple cafe on the hotel grounds was good too. There is no complaints!

Booked in the new Ylang Ylang building for three nights. Unfortunately missed the first night due to flight issues. Excellent property - didn't try the on-site catering as good options are nearly. Friendly staff.

Having visited Barbados last year, we visited Beach View due to the good reviews. We were so impressed that we booked for this year and have just returned. We weren’t disappointed. This was everything that we wanted. Apartments (in the old block) are large and kept to a very good standard. Kitchens are very well kitted out and have all those things you usually have to buy in self catering apartments like washing up liquid, sponges, kitchen roll etc. The communication with Beach View prior to our trip was excellent and you can book airport pick up, welcome packs, restaurant reservations etc prior to your trip. We ordered the deluxe welcome pack and it had everything we needed for the first few days which took off the pressure of having to go to the supermarket as soon as we arrived. Everyone was super friendly and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The larger part of Payne’s Bay beach is about 10 minutes down the road where you can hire sun beds and has a small beach bar called Gazebo where you can drink a cold beer and watch the sun go down. Sandy Lane is just on this corner. It’s very expensive to eat in Barbados so we spent a lot of time at Sugar Apple cafe on site which was very good value for money. They have a couple of themed nights. We also took some items with us like tomato ketchup and salad cream as this type of food is very expensive in the supermarkets. Fantastic stay and we are already looking at booking for next year. Read less

Came to Barbados for a destination wedding. Staff was amazing. Rooms clean and comfortable. Numerous pools. Good security. Food was reasonably priced and well presented. Location was perfect. Close enough to walk or quick cabs if needed. Highly recommend!
