USB ports convenient for in-room phone charging, excellent wifi, modern well equipped kitchen in two bed villa and kitehenette in one bed which I stayed in for last two nights. Glass bottles to chill water in the fridge were very handy. Lovely pool, convenient cafe with excellent food. Staff were all super friendly and helpful and lots of nice restaurants also on the road next to the resort as well as ice-cream shop ...Will stay there again on my next trip! Its only a 15-20 minute taxi ride to Bridgetown and not much longer to the airport so very convenient. It is in a nice quiet location. Read less

A bit of a late review but better than never! These apartments were absolutely stunning and so so spacious. The location is excellent - just across the road from a lovely beach and buses stop regularly which go around the island. There are at least 2 pools which are beautiful but I really recommend going out and about. The manager holds a cocktail party at his own house on a Thursday which is a lovely touch and great to go to. I can personally say Mullins Bay as it’s STUNNING! Also a trip to Champers for a restaurant with amazing views. And finally...The Cat and The Fiddle boat trip, although pricey, is SO worth it!! Hire a car if you can, great way to see the whole island and it’s so easy to drive round. Also, if flying Virgin, worth paying for your seat and booking upper deck economy - feels much more private as there’s only 15 rows so you get a lot of attention compared to main economy on the lower deck. Also...book the Virgin Departure Beach!! Cracking idea and made a great end to our holiday. Read less

So family orientated, the facilities are wonderful, we were lucky enough to be in one of the new villas, which was amazing, very comfortable and spacious. The pools are in tip top condition, my grandson had a ball! And made lots of friends. The beach opposite was one of my favourites, it was heaven, the water is beautiful and even snorkelling there was lovely.i loved it as we were able to take our drinks across the road and watch the sun go down.....stunning. I highly recommend the fresh fish market on the beach too, lovely ladies and you literally watch the fishermen bringing in their catch of the day! The sugar apple cafe is very well run by a family, and they went out of their way to please...especially as my daughter had got engaged a couple of days before they joined us, they made a special dessert, cava and announcement especially for them. Shout out for Fernando who organised that! We were invited to the owners house on thurs for drinks and canapés , a lovely homely touch....and THAT is what makes beach view so special, it has everything one needs for the best holiday!the reception staff are unbelievably helpful, and will organise whatever you want! Absolutely would return. Read less

We had everything we needed for our self catering stay as kitchen was well equipped. The decor was calming and light giving us as a family of six enough space. I don’t enjoy swimming in pools but having a choice of 3 pools without fighting for a sun bed. The surrounding grounds are well maintained. Meals at sugar spice were good value especially at breakfast. Access to chops and restaurants were accessible by the wonderful regale buses along as you don’t mind a bumpy ride with loud music. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and gave lots of useful local tips. I would definitely return to Beach Villa and Barbados as the welcome by the team surpassed all our expectations which was a huge co tribute get factor to our amazing holiday Read less

Great holiday in a beautiful modern apartment. Couldn’t fault anything, staff, location and room first class. Would return if we visited Barbados again, it was that good. The on-site cafe is very convenient and decent value, when compared to other local eateries. The beach over the road is fine and you can use the hotel’s equipment to snorkel. They lay on a golf buggy to take residents to the supermarket but there is a petrol station 5 minutes walk away for basics. Car hire from the complex was straight forward and would recommend it. Had some really good meals in the restaurants close by, not cheap but then Barbados isn’t. Read less
